I'm not going to kill you for that first statement, but I disagree with it. Bush will run a faster 40 time, one of the fastest in RB history in my opinion. I also put Bush's hands above Ronnie's. Ronnie was a freak in his own right, with his size and speed combination, but Bush's speed and hands are on a unique level in my opinion.

Agree 100%. Why franchise a guy who's clearly not the same was he was before a major surgery, a guy who's been in federal prison, and has a backup that put up very good numbers. Chester wouldn't cost the Ravens 6 million a year like Lewis will, and could put up better numbers than Lewis' 2005 season. The Ravens are apparently ignoring Chester who's an UFA, and will franchise Jamal. As a division rival, I have to applaud the move, but as a football fan, I have to wonder what the hell they are thinking. -

He normally keeps any bias aside, and is very knowledgable about the game. I have a feeling they brought him in to counteract the outcry over Bilas/Vitale with Duke etc though. -

Yeah I totally agree, he doesn't have any retarded catch phrases, and actually analyzes the basketball, it's pretty damn annoying. -

Dora is a very good passer. But a 6'9 240 pound perimeter floater doesn't add much on the floor, especially when the team is looking for others with enough balls to take shots to help Jarrius out. I don't mind so much that he doesn't bang inside at 6'9 240, but he has a nice outside shot, and what really pisses me off is that he won't take open shots, which the play is designed to find. -

Good stuff, big Vag aka Daryl Dora is a complete waste of a 6'9 240 pound body. The guy plays like he's 6' 160 pounds, yet he won't shoot 3's either. Doesn't bang inside, and won't shoot an open shot, I don't understand what the point of him being on the floor is. Congrats to Kelvin Sampson as well, guy can get anybody into OU on a basketball scholarship, no matter the grades, and can barely beat TTU without a real big man. -

The world champs are being linked to Bobby Carpenter alot at the 32nd slot, and there's also alot of rumors that the Steelers could trade up in the 1st, or 2nd round because of their compensation picks they will receive. -
Definitely have to say 2006. While I loved Carnell Williams from the beginning, and Ronnie is going to be very good, and I think Benson will be ok in time. I love DeAngelo Williams similarly to Carnell of last year, and Bush is in a league of his own. I also like White about as much as I liked Ronnie Brown. Basically here's my breakdown. Bush > Benson DeAngelo = Carnell White = Ronnie But the depth of the 2006 class to me sets it apart. I really like guys like Calhoun, Maurice Drew, Maroney, Addai, and Norwood. The only guys from 2005 that I would have put in the same class of those guys are Arrington and Shelton. Good topic.

New Bracketology is pretty retarded. UNC wins twice since the last bracketology and actually drops a seed. Arizona splits 2 games, and rises. -
As funny as it sounds, don't count out Baylor in recruiting now. They already have one Mickey D's AA, deserved or not, and Arthur has alot of interest. Don't ever count on Texas kids leaving the state, for whatever reasons. UNC has recruited several Texas kids and is batting about .000.

The show went off very well in my opinion. I'm proud of it as a TTU student. I was worried about it for a while, but now I don't think it will be anything but positive for the program and university. -

Texas Tech not quite on the flatline yet. Nice win 70-64 over Nebraska for their 14th win. Gotta win out, home against OU, at Okl. State, at Baylor, home against Texas A&M. It's a possiblity, especially if Jarrius Jackson scores 41 ppg like he did today. -

The only person who can hold Kobe under 30 ppg is Steve Francis. I would love to see that go down. Go from totally unselfish Odom to Steve, I'm sure Kobe wouldn't mind, right? -

I really like BC's athletecism, combined with Tyrese's PG talent. You guys should have 2nd place in the ACC locked up, and should end up with a 3 seed in the tourney in my opinion. The only fault I see, is the basketball IQ on the flooor. You have ALOT of athletecism all over the court, but some guys that don't make great decisions on the floor. With the right bracket, I could see an elite 8 team. Rice just has to cut down on the TO's to allow his playing time to increase, as he's matchup hell for any opposing PG or defense for that matter. -

Speaking of Marquette, I'm in love with their freshmen backcourt, those guys are going to be something very special. I'm watching McNeal especially closely, as he's reminding me of a young certain somebody that used to play for Marquette.
