I would expect with Hinske or Koskie to be dealt, with the other ending up at 3B with Hillenbrand in the mix, likely at DH.
-
I would bet Koskie-3B, Hinske-DH, Overbay-DH. But with that said, thats not a whole lot of power from your infield corners plus DH.

Is it me, or is that one of the worst trades in a long time, worst of the offseason at the very least.

Bob, just be glad you don't have Lubbock's weather. We had a high of -1 today and it will be -5 most of the night. It was fun stuff waiting for a bus out in the open.

Yeah I'm not doubting you or anything, but you just almost gave me a heart attack thinking about Maddox starting the rest of the year. -

Ben's actually waiting until the season is over for the surgery, so he will be in there Sunday. -

UNC is a legit top 25 team, even this early. UNC does play alot of freshmen. But we also have Roy Williams as a coach and still have 3 McDonald's All Stars. UNC also has alot of depth in athletes, which allows us to overcome our lack of experience by trapping and fastbreaking each possession. We will get in trouble a few times this year due to Hansbrough's aggressiveness and likely subsequent foul trouble, but for the most part, we can run with anyone. With any other coach in the nation, we would be in alot of trouble, and would look alot like Kansas. -
Its actually been the running game that the OL is having the most problems with. Injuries have forced the Steelers to use two rookies on the tackles lately. Not to mention our center Jeff Hartings is WAY over his playing prime and will likely be replaced next year. Ben threw for a career high last week with a possible broken thumb, he just made a few mistakes that ended up killing us. But don't get me wrong, the entire team has been playing bad lately and has led to speculation that Cowher's style has finally worn off.

Walker was on OTL I believe it was just a few weeks ago defending Rosenhaus, so I guess he finally saw the light.

Bears 21, Steelers 17. Bears get 14 points on defense :-P.

Bears shouldn't have many problems with the Steelers. The Steelers have all but quit on Cowher now. The OL can't block, so the running game is going nowhere, so Ben is forced to throw with a possible broken thumb. His short to medium passes aren't effected, but the deep balls are horrendous. Should be a good game just because neither offense will likely be able to score. Steelers pretty much have to win out to entertain playoff thoughts, so maybe I will finally see the Steelers play with fire. -

Why is Carolina in the poll shocking? We hung with Illinois, and beat a top 10 Kentucky team at Rupp. -

Something else odd is that he was ranked 26th in his class coming out, not 26th overall, but the 26th best shooting guard in his class. Yikes. -

This Morrison guy isn't half bad , averaging 30ppg through 6 games now. He's got a great shot at NPOY. -
Not sure, but mine is pretty much brand new and does the same thing. I wouldn't worry about it. I used to worry it was a virus causing havoc, but its completely clean, so it must be just keeping itself as cool as possible.

Basically it comes down to finding the best deal on the best equipment. The brand isn't that big of a deal, you will find different people that hate every brand made. I've searched the net extensively looking for deals, and even with all the price comparison websites, I still found that Best Buy and Circuit City were my two best bets when shipping, and customizing were figured in online. I would go into Best Buy and take a look at their different packages on laptops, then head to Circuit City, and write down their deals etc. Then you can check online and see if you can get anything better, but I would doubt it.

1.6 wasn't the right call. The clock stops when the ball is completely through the net, there was no more than 1 second on the clock when it finally made its way through. -

Awesome stuff, change the time from 1 second to 1.6, and then give them a 5 minute break. Shot wouldn't have counted in any other building in America, hilarious. -

Should be a fun game, Texas is the only other program in the nation that can match USC's speed and amount of athletes. Ramonce Taylor is a burner himself at the RB position, running 4.3 40's, should be an awesome game. Pro scouts will be drooling over it. -

ESPN reported that MGM had the first line on the game with USC -6. -
I was pulling into my garage and glanced across the street to see my neighbor putting his lights on his house. This may not seem strange, but when you take into account there was a dust-storm happening with consistent gusts of 30-40 mph, and to top it off, he had his child, who looked to be no older than 5 years old, on the roof with him. I was in shock. I just don't know what some people are thinking, or not thinking.

I wasn't annoyed with it until Reggie Bush dropped back to receive a punt around the end of the 3rd quarter, if thats not a Heisman ploy, I don't know what is. -

The only thing you have to wonder about Bush is if he can take the pounding of an NFL season. For as fast and as shifty as he is, he's still very thin. Still, I can't wait to watch him try. LT and Reggie will be the dominate backs of the NFL for years to come, both running and catching out of the backfield, or split wide. -
I must be totally missing the boat with Furcal. Before this season, I saw a guy that played defense very similar to Jose Valentin, with fielding percentage included. I also see a guy that happened to have his best year defensively in a contract year. I also see a guy thats already 28 and should have been in his prime for the past 2-3 years, yet none of the season's would put him anything more than slightly above average at the SS position. I see a guy that in his 4 full years in the majors is averaging 12 homers and 56 rbi's with over 600 at-bats each year in a potent Braves lineup. I must be missing something big here if teams are offering him anything over 6-7 million a year.
