  1. I have a big spectrum of tastes. ZZ Top Stevie Ray Vaughn Guitar Shorty Chevelle Sevendust Foo Fighters Skillet Incubus
  2. I'm a huge UNC fan and and I'm still dead tired of him. Edit: lmao, I can't type today apparently.
  3. My best friend growing up was actually the great grand-son of Carl, what a screwball, both of em :-). I would have loved to see Ted Williams hit, Willie Mays field, and Cy Young pitch.
  4. The problem is that most companies like ESPN don't feel the same way and can seek legal action against Soxtalk. I can understand both sides, as I'm a paying Insider member and I also like receiving inside info for free. Thats why when I post Insider typer stuff, I sum it up in my own words.
  5. He's a nice new voice for ESPN, much better than the yelling idiocy of Stephen A Smith.
  6. Scoop Jackson of ESPN.com wrote a nice article about being a Sox fan. He has some great NBA articles and it was nice to find out he's a big Sox fan also. Hope it hasn't been posted yet, if so, feel free to delete. http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story...=jackson/050718
  7. lmao, here read this. http://northcarolina.scout.com/2/396061.html
  8. Its actually because only 1 of the 14 violations was for mens basketball. The one violation was Roy Williams letting 3 individuals give gifts to graduating seniors from the 00, 01, 02 classes. Its still stupid, but it doesn't exactly give you and edge in any way shape or form. Recruits I guess could tell each other, "hey if you choose Roy Williams he will give you stuff when you graduate". I can see them lining up now.
  9. http://www.t-rexin.org/forum/forum.cgi?threadid=396 NICE.
  10. Thanks for the response, it was very helpful. Thats a good question. My thoughts have been that if a "victim" loses a lawsuit for whatever reason, the opposition should get a chance to counter-sue the "victim" for whatever court charges plus a little extra for time lost etc. Then a jury would have a chance to see the evidence and make a judgement not only on the victim's charge, but on whether the victims charge was frivilous. If they see that the victims charge wasn't thrown out, but they in fact lost the case anyways, then the victim would owe nothing but the previously stated lawyer's fees. That could trim down the amount of lawsuits in the future, and yet save the real cases of neglegence or whatever the victim is suing for based on the evidence. I do realize that is trying a case twice and would likely not work. But I just don't like the current circumstances.
  11. Thats good to know that there are some penalties for frivilous lawsuits. But what is in place now just isn't good enough. From personal experience, I had a great aunt that sued over 15 companies, mostly frivilous crap, just because she could. The only risk she took was the court costs, and the potential reward far outweighed the costs at the time. That was 10 years ago, and I'm not sure what has changed rules wise since then. You seem to be an expert in law, what are the potential consequences one would see in judging whether or not to file a potentially frivilous lawsuit? Is this all?
  12. Companies should be able to seek damages from the "victim" if the charges are found to be false. This would stop alot of people from claiming frivelous charges.
  13. 2.85 is right, both BA and minorleaguebaseball have that number. They also have the amount of ER's compared to innings to validate their number as opposed to the other article.
  14. I know I'm probably alone in this, but I've felt for a while now that Sean could be a dominate closer in the majors. He has a rubber arm and could "let it go" for an inning or two and show off his nice stuff without holding back.
  15. Just about every store you find has a different release date on it. I've seen alot of stores with the 11th and 12th as to when they will receive it, and I've seen on the Target website that they say the 6th is when they will receive it for PS2. Its pretty confusing, but I'm just trying to get it as soon as I can.
  16. Well forget the CompUSA deal, the idiot that told me was apparently wrong, atleast here.
  17. Now I've heard that CompUsa actually broke the street date and began selling them today. I know I'm going to be at CompUsa tomorrow morning to see if its true.
  18. I just noticed I was reading his playoff numbers to begin with. His regular season numbers are a little bit better I will admit.
  19. Just a heads up. The Target website shows the game coming out on July 6th for PS2 users and July 13th for XBOX. Thats much earlier than the July 10th and July 13th dates I have seen at other places like Best Buy, Wal-Mart etc.
  20. Honest question about Duhon. Why the fuss over keeping him? He has an atrocious FG and 3PT percentage, and averages a turnover for every 1.75 assists. I admit he is a good rebounding guard, and he plays solid defense, but is he really worth any kind of bidding war if it comes to that? This isn't the usual UNC hatred of a Duke player either, I think Duhon is a good guy and I'm actually rooting for him. Now I think I will go vomit.
  21. I have a feeling the Pad's are banking on Quantrill's past success and hoping he can regain that form. The Yankees are probably just looking for fresh faces in the organization.
  22. I've got some more questions about Jenks also. Does he have a consistent delivery or is that something that he really has to work on with coaches? Also, is it an easy arm motion or is it violent torque when he throws his heater? Just a couple of things I've been wondering about him for a while. Thanks in advance for anyone who can answer.
  23. Omar Thomas is a real solid sign also. He's a 6'5 SF, but has an NBA game. He has a chance to make the team or another team in the NBA.
  24. Thanks greasy, anymore info on Lewis Monroe, I've actually never heard of him and I'm interested to see he pushed Strickland to the wing.
  25. Can you guys post Indiana's possible/probably starting lineup next year? I know that will be an awesome game and one of the few chances Duke will have of losing next year. Duke will be absolutely stacked next year but Indiana is one of the few teams that could play with Duke down low.
