Yeah I hope nobody expects Carillo to hit 95 regularly, or you will be displeased. Not many guys in the draft process can hit 95 regularly, and if they can they are either a top 10 pick or a later round guy because of their control. Carillo has nice sink on his fastball that sat at 91-92 when I watched.

Just sounds too much like Honel for my tastes. Honel had an average fastball but with "projectability" on it and a great curve. I'm still hoping and praying for Carillo. Maybe Broadway would prove me wrong, who knows.

I personally see nothing wrong with that play. Erstad would have been tagged out if he would have slid in, instead he smashed into Estrada and scored a run for his team. It was just unfortunate that Estrada got hurt.

Normally I'm not thrilled with guys that shoot their stock up right before the draft as I wonder what the heck they were doing for the previous year. But Broadway seems to be a good talent that just finally came into his own after JC and a year at TCU. Said his fastball is average but has room to grow. Then again how often have you seen a college pitchers fastball grow? Not much from my opinion, its always talked about but never really seen by me. Just my opinion.
