  1. The list looks good and its a good idea, but I would be very interested to hear more about Fernando Hernandez from anyone. He has put up very good numbers the last 2 years. At 19/20 years old in Kannapolis he had a 2.98 era in 45.1 IP with 59 K's and only 16 walks. Also doesn't hurt that he was my sleeper pick Also, I think you may have misplaced Ryan Sweeney and Brian Anderson's comments, it looks to me like a pitchers comments, maybe I'm wrong. I realize this is version 1.0, so good job.

    Question

Thats the bad thing, they are both brilliant and the child is showing every sign of brilliance at an early age. They are giving her too much leeway due to her early maturity. I don't want to tell them how to raise their kids, because I don't have any experience in that either, but I want to see them and I don't want everyone here getting sick as ss2k pointed out. I just can't fathom giving that decision to a 7 year old, no matter how mature she is.

    Question

Here's the thing, my sister and her two children are all sick with the flu. They are supposed to come visit us in 4 days. They got the medicine for the kids and my sis to take, but my brother in law said today that my 4 year old neice is taking the medicine, but that my 7 year old neice isn't taking it. Asked why not, "because its her choice. " Am I wrong for thinking thats absolutely ridiculous that they are giving the choice to their 7 year old daughter whether to take flu medicine or not? I'm just pissed because now my 7 year old neice will most likely still be feeling crappy and they will have to cancel the trip, when we only get to see them twice a year as it is.
  4. I have a newfound respect for Julius Hodge after reading this. http://www4.ncsu.edu/~jphollow/julius.html I especially loved the comparing NY to Raleigh comments, hilarious.
  5. Davis does tend to loaf, but if he was in Shelden's place at Duke, he would be playing over 30 minutes a game also out of necessity. You are right in that you just can't add 8 minutes worth of production and get the exact production. But it works in most cases when you already have a significant amount of minutes being played. You can't say a guy averaging 2 points in 2 minutes of play would average 40 points a game if he had Redick minutes, but you can safely add a few minutes onto their play and get a reasonable estimate of their production.
  6. Should be an interesting set of matchups, I don't see NC State winning, but the fact they beat UConn blew my mind, so who knows. I have no hard feelings either IK, I love to argue and don't take whats said on here to heart.
  7. Paul's numbers are actually solid this year considering how much time he played, only 26 mpg. Shelden Williams played almost 8 more minutes a game. If you add the extra 8 minutes of production to Davis, his numbers would be. 15.4 ppg, 9.94 rpg. Which is very solid in his own right. Does Shelden own him whenever they play? Yes. But that just happens, Sean May always plays very well against Shelden for some reason, Shelden owns Luke Schenser, and Luke does very well against Sean. You never know who is going to play well against another player, for whatever reason. If Duke is going to beat Michigan State, Redick will have to have a big game because MSU is notorious for crashing the boards very well. Shav and Shelden have a tendency to pick up quick fouls also, they have to stay away from that. MSU has to find someone to contain Redick for 20-25 points, and force others to step up.
  8. Depends. Sometimes teams rally and play even better for a few games without their star player. But this news might hurt them knowing they are much weaker for the rest of the tourney. I'm still expecting a great game. I wanted Jason Frasor REAL bad, glad to see he's finally getting healthy, even if it hurts my team.
  9. Career. Randolph: 6.37 ppg, 4.3 rpg Davis: 11.6 ppg, 6.1 rpg Closer than I thought it would be, but still not the same player. Shav has never come close to living up to being the number 1 player in his class.
  10. Damn, I'm gone for a day and Willie and Rex are arguing. I already miss the old days when Krush and I were fighting.
  11. My bracket is screwed for good now with my final four team WF out. I couldn't be happier about it either, glad TT gets WV instead of WF. Not to mention Chris Paul who I have disliked all year gets to go home.
  12. Yeah I actually started watching sports when I was very young, Larry was getting close to retiring, but I've seen alot of NBA classics also with him playing. I know Morrison isn't Bird, scouts have been comparing him to Larry and I just don't see it. Morrison is skilled at 6'9, but he doesn't have NEARLY the shooting touch Larry did.
  13. Yeah I can understand that part, he's a very solid player and Turiaf decided to stop playing at half time. I was expecting a close game until I saw Gonzaga absolutely owned TT on the boards, I have no idea why the Zag's decided to stop going inside in the 2nd half. Doesn't make any sense.
  14. On another note, I've never seen a player whine as much as Morrison did today. He had 1 freaking foul called on him the entire game and he was whining about that one throwing his arms up in the air. I used to respect him as a player when they compared him to Larry Bird, Larry Bird he is not.
  15. Man what a win, Ronald Ross is amazing. If Bobby ever gets a solid rebounder down here, look out.
  16. It completely messed up my bracket also, but I honestly don't care. Vermont's coach deserved it, he's going out on a great ride.
  17. Thanks, I'm not looking forward to that one.
  18. I'm terrified of both of them. Homan has the size and the skills to really effect Sean May on Sunday, and Stinson has the ability to go off anytime. Don't you guys press and then fall back into a zone? If so, thats exactly what UNC fans don't want to see. Especially the zone part.
  19. Go Ohio go, I don't care that is screws up my bracket, thats one less dangerous team in the bracket.
  20. Peegs is a good guy, I've been reading his stuff off and on since the Sean May recruitment days, he was great info on that front.
  21. Redick 115 out of 276 3's at a .417 clip, 93% FT, .410 FG% Stoudemire 110 out of 213 at a .512 clip, 91% FT, .512 FG% So lets compare. Redick has 5!!! more made 3's on the year, while taking 63 more 3's, has a 2% higher FT average, and .10% less in FG%, yet Redick is the better shooter? OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOK then.
  22. 10-6, :banghead Things I should have already learned before today. 1. Never trust a Tack Minor led team 2. Cincinatti never loses in 1st round, its always the 2nd round 3. Never doubt that a 12 will upset a 5 4. Bogut CAN beat teams by himself 5. Last but not least, never doubt Rick Barnes will get outcoached.
  23. Oh God I just looked at the scores, the only people who have worse scores are the ones that forgot to fill out their brackets. WONDERFUL.
