  1. Thats a very good question, for anyone that watched, who was it that was playing so horrible? Was it everyone or just certain players in particular?
  2. I was asleep and missed all but the last 3 minutes of this game. I can't believe UNC was down 58-71, yikes. What a comeback though, Felton is amazing. Hopefully UNC and I will be awake for our next game.
  3. Texas is still pretty safe, TT will also be in, UTEP has a decent chance. Overall its a horrible year for Texass(clever) basketball.
  4. I really fail to see how Chris Paul is a 1st team AA and Sean May is only 2nd.
  5. It just really confused me because Hawk even said it right in front of McCarthy during the interview and Brandon didn't correct him. I'm assuming he was just being polite to Hawk. Either way, Brandon looked very impressive, I don't care what his velocity was or will be, he can pitch.
  6. My question is, why does Hawk keep referring to BMac as "the 24 year old". Is Hawk nuts or am I the one going nuts thinking he's 21 going on 22 in July?
  7. South Carolina over Miss Miss State over Georgia Tennessee over Arkansas Vanderbilt over Auburn Alabama over South Carolina Miss State over Florida Kentucky over Tennessee LSU over Vanderbilt Alabama over Miss State Kentucky over LSU Kentucky over Alabama
  8. Yeah Mpl the Duke fans let Kerr hear it also when they came to town. Duke fans chanted "Where's your daddy?". Rowand I agree about Paul being overrated. He's a heck of a player, but he's not gonna live up to the pre-season ACC POY hype. Its gonna be Redick likely, and 2nd it will be May. Here's an interesting article(atleast to me) about baiting the referees. http://www.accsports.com/exclusive_updates...sider030705.jsp
  9. How the hell can you lose to Clemson 3 times in a season? Especially with the talent on MD, thats a heck of a choke job to miss the tourney. Beat Duke twice and lose to Clemson 3 times, I will admit I still believed in BC somewhat, but not any longer, yikes.
  10. Don't know if its been posted yet, but the Steelers signed a pretty solid receiver today. Cedrick Wilson from 49ers 47 receptions 641 receiving yards and also is a solid return man to join Randle El. Steelers are going to be severely lacking WR size though if Plax is lost and nothing more is added, I'm sure they aren't done though. http://secure2.steelers.com/article/51334/
  11. Yeah I realize what fans say to him all the time, making fun of his grandfather's death etc, but he has to learn to deal with that in other ways. Most elite players have to deal with that kind of stuff. As to the rumor, at first it was Gary Williams rumored, but that's been proven not true, then they moved on to Leanord Hamilton, I'm sure its nothing anyways.
  12. Also its nice to see the media finally calling out Chris Paul on how much of a punk he is. Man I can't stand that kid.
  13. I can agree with that. But do you think signing Plaxico Burress would change that? Would they want two 6'5 giants or a giant and a speedster. That would be horrible for CB's to deal with Plax and Mike Williams, yikes.
  14. McCants finally cleared to play by the doctors. Now there is a silly rumor that an ACC coach punched his player and broke his jaw. Who knows if it will turn out to be true, I doubt it. I'm sure somebody just made it up.
  15. WVU over Providence Georgetown over Seton Hall Notre Dame over Rutgers BC over WV Villanova over Pittsburgh UConn over Georgetown Syracuse over Notre Dame BC over Villanova UConn over Syracuse UConn over BC
  16. Maryland over Clemson NC State over Florida State Miami over Virginia North Carolina over Clemson Georgia Tech over Virginia Tech NC State over Wake Forest Duke over Miami North Carolina over Georgia Tech Duke over NC State North Carolina over Duke
  17. IU is going to be a very good team next year, wouldn't be suprised to see them start out at #17 or something similar and earn their way higher. In other news, Pete Gillen has pretty much already been shown the door at Virginia and they are going for it all with indirect contacts of Mike Montgomery, Tubby Smith, and Rick Barnes. I doubt any will come, even though Virginia has tons of money to throw at them and a new arena with a beautiful campus. Virginia has a good chance of becoming a basketball powerhouse if they ever get the right coach.
  18. Honestly, Nick Smith would give Sean alot of problems in the post. Luke Schenser with his 7' size gives Sean some problems, and Luke is softer than a Koala bear. It would be a hell of a matchup, I hope it happens in the championship game, college basketball couldn't ask for more.
  19. I'm still spending my time playing Gran Turismo 4 and MVP 2005, my head would explode if I bought ESPN also. But I would also love to hear what people think about it before I would think about buying it. Like, do they have the MLB draft and different levels of minors like MVP?
  20. Don't be so sure about Williamson not belonging in the top 15. I've been touting him for a while that he would make it this high, and I see why he COULD. http://www.collegesports.com/sports...012405aai.html# "Notebook Hunting a Gamecock: South Carolina WO Troy Williamson, who is expected to be the No. 2 receiver selected in this year's draft behind Michigan's Braylon Edwards, had dinner with Washington Sunday night and has also slated a meet-and-eat with Dallas this week here in Mobile. The Redskins, who pick No. 9 in April, and Dallas, which picks No. 11, are both said to be in the market for a difference-making wide receiver and may be targeting Williamson."
  21. From my scenario ISU would only end up with 18 wins compared to 10 losses. I didn't see the recent hot streak over good teams until I just looked now. Late wins over OU, UT, TT, and KU should give them a pretty good shot at the tourney. I don't see the Big 12 getting 7 in the tourney though, so maybe they will take A&M's place.
  22. Marlin Jackson improved his stock at the combines while running a 4.59? OOOOK. No thanks. I like some of the picks, I like to laugh at the others.
  23. Missou over Nebraska. Iowa State over Baylor Texas A&M over KSU Texas over Colorado OU over Missouri Texas Tech over ISU Kansas over A&M OSU over Texas OU over Texas Tech OSU over Kansas OSU over OU. OSU, OU, TT, Kansas, Texas, and A&M all make the tourney. I don't really think A&M deserves the tourney, but they will make it anyways.
  24. Jason, Sean has packed on mostly muscle. He came into UNC at 265 pounds. This year he's turned most of it into muscle and weighs 255 pounds. My only question about his pro future is his height. I've seen people that say he's 6'8 tops, and others say he's closer to 6'10. From seeing him standing next to other 6'9 players like Jawad Williams, Reyshawn Terry, and Marvin Williams, Sean looks to be the tallest of the bunch. I think he has a bright future, the fact that he's staying 4 years is just icing on the cake.
