Yeah it happens everytime they play, Duke stormed the court earlier in the year. UNC fans were long overdue for this, we have lost every other 5 points or less game we played this year. Duke has been dominating UNC lately, and UNC made an 11-0 run to end the game to win it. I almost hit my head on the ceiling jumping around so much, what an awesome feeling. Duke played a hell of a game and I thought for sure we lost when we were down 73-64. -

Only way UNC takes over the overall 1 seed is if UNC wins the ACC tourney and Illini don't win the Big Ten tourney. Otherwise Illini have it locked up for sure, atleast they should. -

Also NC State has their chance to solidify a spot in the tourney today when they get WF coming into Raleigh. I would love for State to win based solely on the fact that it will likely keep Herb Sendek at the helm. -

GT will make it based on the committees belief that with Elder back, they will be a tough team to contend with. Will they be right? Probably not, GT has struggled all year long, with or without Elder. They made their run throught he tourney last year without Elder, and have looked like crap alot even with him in the lineup. Basically its Jarret Jack and 4 bystanders on the floor. Schenser is extremely soft, Muhammed can't shoot, Elder is still inconsistent, Bynum is an enigma, and you never know what you are going to get from the bench. I have no doubt GT will make the tourney almost solely on reputation from last year and the image that GT is much better off with Elder back. I do think they have to win atleast 1 game in the tourney to deserve an invitation. Same thing with Maryland and Virginia Tech. -

I'm predicting Carolina by 5 butter, I think Felton will really have a big game. As for N. Iowa's higher rpi and sos than say Indiana, I don't really see it either, but I guess its all how they computer their rankings. Road wins are important, but when its against far inferior competition, its not really the same. -

Well Rashad it looks like is out for the Duke game also. Just makes it that much more interesting. Rex, Northern Iowa's rpi is good and their sos is in the top 55, it should be really close as to whether they make it or not, I think they will. 21 wins with a top 35 rpi should be pretty safe in my opinion. -

There was a rumor a couple of weeks ago that Rush committed to Illinois, but that proved to be untrue. Probably better for Illini fans anyways, he's almost a 100% lock to go pro. -

Wow did they ever step up in the 2nd half, down 3 at half, and win by 15. Felton and May making their cases for ACC POY and NPOY with 32 and 12 boards for Sean and 15 and 10 assists for Ray. David Noel really stepped up in Rashad's absence with 8 assists of his own. Final UNC 91 FSU 76, UNC co-ACC champions atleast, the Duke finale will determine if its a solo title. -

UNC down 3 to FSU at the half. FSU on fire from everywhere and UNC flat. Should be an interesting second half. -
I'm sorry to hear about that kapko. Growing up I had a Heeler mix that looked just like that, he weighed about 50-60 pounds and was amazingly athletic. He loved playing catch with a ball, he could jump 3 feet off the ground and catch the ball in the air and bring it back to you and give it up without a fight. We could throw it on the roof and he would watch for it and catch it in the air or on the first bounce, he was amazing. He also lived for 16 years amazingly. I'm really pulling for your pup, I know he will be an awesome dog. Also, my heeler mix is only 8 weeks old and already is 10 pounds, he's not the slightest bit fat either, I'm terrified about how big he could become.

Rashad's mom thinks his illness is caused by stress over her diagnosis of breast cancer a little while ago. Doctors removed the tumor and said it didn't spread, but its really been bothering him apparently. Thats gonna be tough for him to focus on basketball, but he's a tough guy physically and mentally, he can get through it. My prayers are with him and his mom. -
One of my guys Gerald Sensebaugh had a great showing at the combines today. Here is an excerpt from ESPN Insider. "Gerald Sensabaugh had one of the best showings from the safety class. Sensabaugh is a late bloomer who finished his career at North Carolina after spending time early on at Eastern Tennessee State. He showed up in terrific shape at 6-0½, 214 pounds and ran an excellent 40 time (4.49) for his size. Sensabaugh, who once blocked three kicks in one game at ETSU, also had one of the best vertical jumps of the week, reaching 46 inches." Also Marlin Jackson really struggled in the 40 clocking a 4.59, Ronald Bartell from Howard showed up at around 6'1 and ran a 4.37 40 time.

I'm going to go with Fernando Hernandez. I think he will have a nice year and possibly make it to AA by the end of the year. He won't be 21 until 4 months from now I believe.

This is what is part of ESPN getting in trouble for being a possible monopoly. There was already a station that was running this type of stuff called college sports tv or cstv I believe it is, but ESPN is stealing their idea and will likely put them out of business simply because they have more money. Instead of buying out CSTV and keeping the employees around, they are microsofting them and getting rid of competition. I like the new channel, I just hate how it came about.

Thats awesome, we just got a dog a few days ago and he's also a Heeler mix. Here is a picture of him.

Well I was wrong about McCants. They still aren't sure what exactly is wrong with him. They are thinking it is Colitis now, but still aren't sure. Probably not going to play against FSU as it stands right now. -

Well I tried my best not to anyways . UNC fans were that confident going into Cameron also, and ended up having a terrible game. It happens. Great teams can lose to good teams at home, especially at the hellhole I mean Cameron. Not that any of it matters anyways, of course Illini is the best team in the nation and they will not have to worry about playing Duke at Cameron. Duke will have to worry about being in the same bracket as the Illini. I'm not even trying to be in this argument, as it was flawed to begin with, a premise not built on logic, but on blind loyalty. -

I can't believe I'm gonna defend Duke at all but here it goes. Illinois wouldn't handle Duke rather easily at Cameron Indoor. It wouldn't be an easy game on a neutral floor either as Duke would slow the game down and they always play very solid man defense. Illinois would win by 12+ at home, 6+ on a neutral floor, and it would be a one possession game at Duke. Thats my opinion and can we please move on now. Illinois wouldn't want to see Duke in their bracket, and vice versa Illinois bracket would be the last one that Duke would want to enter. Also I don't think you can argue that Indiana has a legitimate chance at the tourney this year, but they have alot of work to do. If they can win out at Wiscy and home to NW, then you guys will be sitting pretty well entering the Big 10 tourney. 2 wins and a loss in the tourney and it will be tough to turn down IU for the dance with 18 wins and 12 losses. After all, Georgia got in the tourney in 2001 at 16-14, and IU's SOS is in the top 30. RPI could end up keeping you guys out though. -

UNC has a major danger game today. Playing at MD, without McCants who has been suffering from a stomach virus for over 3 weeks now. He had been losing weight and muscle among other things and everyone was worried. Good to see that he might be back for FSU in 5 days. I'm expecting Sean May to have a HUGE game because Felton has always had trouble with Gilchrist because of Gil's size.
