  1. OOOOK, I was going to remove my avatar all together because sound won't stop, and apparently someone else did it for me. Thats kind of scary.
  2. Thats why I keep the sound off on my comp... I'll try to take off the sound.
  3. Can't say I'm happy about Duke winning, but then I'm not unhappy about UNC in 1st place of the ACC now either. I do love seeing the punk Chris Paul showing his true colors.
  4. Just an update on the two teams that I cheer for. Texas Tech is 6-1, BA predicts Texas Tech will just miss the tourney, it will be interesting to see how close they can get. Texas Tech was 40-21 last year. TT doesn't really have stars on the team in the Big 12, it will have to be a collective team effort. North Carolina started the season with 3 straight shutouts over Appalaichin State and Seton Hall twice. The Heels are 4-0 currently and could move into the top 10 from their current #13th position. Heels are very strong pitching wise, will be interesting to see if the hitting can keep up.
  5. I don't want to give it away either now, but I'll try to give you a hint. Don't think of all the dice at the same time, think of one and a rose at the same time.
  6. What the hell? Poor toads getting tackled by dogs and cats 3-4 times their size and they are worried about the dogs and cats? Hypocrits.
  7. Jeez I just got it :headshake
  8. Give Josh Smith back to IU and JR Smith and JamesOn Curry back to UNC and we can all be happy :-). I was just shocked how many people actually picked Amare over Josh Smith, I knew it wouldn't be close. Josh has a Lebron type vertical. Next year offer VC, Kobe, and Lebron 100K to join Josh Smith in the dunk contest, then hype the hell out of it to make the money back.
  9. I guess I feel better that I'm not the only one that still has no idea. I'm in engineering and I design stuff in Flash and I still have no clue. Maybe I'm not that creative afterall
  10. I like all those guys on your list, but I'm gonna name a few Tar Heels that I think deserve a good break in life and have the talent to keep in the league for a long time. First is Chad Scott, he transferred into UNC from Kentucky after he was SEC freshmen of the year I believe. He's 5'9 195 pounds and great burst and quickness. He is a very good pass catching threat also, he was just stuck behind alot of talented backs at UNC. When he finally got his chance he shined against Miami and for the rest of the season. I think at minimum he could be a very good 3rd down back in the NFL and I never see him on any RB lists. He can run in the 4.40-4.50 range so I think its a mistake to overlook him. The other is Gerald Sensebaugh, a free safety at 6'2 210 pounds. He transferred in for a year from Middle Tennessee State I believe it was after they disbanded their football program. He had alot of interest coming out of high school but his grades at the time severely limited his choices. But he's a big safety that is a tackling machine, he's wasn't the most dominant safety in pass coverage, but then again UNC's lack of a pass rush for most of the year didn't help either. But Gerald got to learn under a very good DB coach in Marvin Sanders who joined the Tar Heels after coaching Nebraska's DB's to the nations lead in INT's the year before. I think both of those guys have good character, work ethic, and the talent to get it done. I think they will suprise for teams like Willie Parker did for my Steelers this year. Yes I know I'm being a homer, but I'm just really rooting for these guys to succeed.
  11. Yeah it just doesn't make much sense to me to draft Alex Smith that early when Charlie Frye is a very similar QB and they could gain extra picks. Neither Alex Smith or Charlie Frye will be ready to play right away in the NFL for varying reason's in my opinion. Drafting Frye with their 2nd round pick would be nice for them, but I don't think he will last that long.
  12. Depending on his combine, I could see the Brown's trading down and taking Charlie Frye in the late 1st round. I haven't seen that rumor anywhere, but it would make sense to me. They aren't going anywhere next year anyways, too much problems.
  13. Here's a nice site for NFL draft info by the way. http://www.nflfans.com/draft/
  14. I'm saying Troy is a sleeper because I think he could be one of the top 2 WR's taken in the draft. I know he's always been a 1st day talent, but I think he will put up great combine numbers and move into the top 10 players taken.
  15. I can see why Mike Williams is the top rated WR also. He has the size to absolutely dominate games like Plaxico Burress does. Plaxico doesn't even use his jumping ability like Mike does, and Plax's hands aren't of the same caliber of Williams. If Mike is lucky enough to be drafted onto a team with a QB with some balls that will just throw the ball up to him and let him do his thing, he will dominate as a rookie. 40 times are overrated. 4.55-4.6 is definitely good enough, especially at his size. I just don't see any reason Braylon should be taken or will be taken ahead of Mike. The year out of football will be a question, but those questions will all be answered at the combines good or bad. I can't wait to see what kind of combine Mike and my sleeper Troy Williamson have.
  16. The high school senior class is the weakest in atleast 10 years. But that won't stop kids from jumping into the draft anyways. I wouldn't be suprised to see 6+ from this class again try to make the jump. I wouldn't be suprised to see any of these guys make the HS/Pro jump; Louis Williams, Monta Ellis, Brandon Rush, Julian Wright, Andray Blatche, Martell Webster, Shawne Williams, Gerald Green, Amir Johnson, Chris Douglas-Roberts. Most likely Monta Ellis and Louis Williams will make the jump, they are on opposing teams in one of the biggest all-star games and will likely be auditioning against each other. Both are very talented players, but what position Louis Williams will play in the NBA or even on the next level is a question. I think Brandon Rush, Martell Webster, and Gerald Green are on the next tier of most likely to go, all 3 are very talented 2G/SF types. What you will see out of this class is that there is a severe lack of post players that could make the jump which could help someone like Chris Taft at Pitt who has been struggling but is very talented and of course all the foreign big men will feast on the draft again.
  17. UNC again playing well on the road... :headshake good thing the tourney's are neutral courts.
  18. Yeah ESPN is hilarious, poor poor JJ getting made fun of while he talks s*** on the court and showboats after every shot. Apparently he can give it, but certainly can't take it. How ironic is it for a DUKE player to be complaining about fan's lack of class, this coming from a fanbase that chanted "where's your daddy?" to Steve Kerr after Kerr's father was tragically killed not long before the game.
  19. Yep Derrick is the best player in the draft in my opinion. I don't really think the combine will affect him too much though, teams know he's gonna be great there, its just if any of the top 10 teams have a great need at LB over other positions.

    Yeeeehawl...

Congrats Kap!! Btw, DBAHO aren't you supposed to say "good on ya" to Kap
  21. Thats interesting about Wiley and the CB situation. Henry is a decent CB, but I think the Cowboys can do better in this draft which is very loaded with CB's. Then again I have never been impressed with Terrance Newman either. Being that I usually root for my Texas teams outside of my favorite teams overall, I'm hoping Derrick Johnson slides down to 11. But I think Merriman is a good player and would be a good choice.
  22. I can't see the Cowboys drafting a DE with Marcellous Wiley and Greg Ellis already on the team. Ellis had a very nice year and Wiley is still getting alot of money while having a down year. With Laroi Glover already in the middle I think the Cowboys will focus on CB with one pick and possibly a QB/Impact WR/ or LB with the other pick.
  23. In my opinion Andre Johnson is the closest thing to Moss talent wise at WR in the NFL. He has size at 6'2 1/2 225 and blazing speed, and is beginning to put up big numbers. I'm expecting huge numbers from him next year when he's still only 24 years old.
  24. Addy you seriously think Williams is on Moss' level? I think thats a little too much hype. Randy is a once in lifetime type talent at WR in my opinion. Unfortunately his mind was lagging far behind. Randy was a receiver at 6'4 that was the fastest player in the draft with a 38 inch vertical and great hands. He was the perfect wide receiver. Mike has great size at 6'5 and great hands. But his speed is probably 3 tenths slower in the 40 than Moss. If you are saying he could make a huge impact like Moss did as a rookie, then I definitely agree with you there. I just don't know if Moss is worth 1) the amount of talent you would have to give up to get him and 2) the clubhouse cancer he could bring. Minny fans are fed up with him for the most part, and he could possibly be had for far less than his value, in that case I couldn't blame a team for giving it a shot. But I too would take the #4 pick(Williams) and a defensive starter over Moss anyday of the week as of now.
