I wouldn't count on Braylon and Mike being the only 2 impact WR's in the draft after the combines are over. I truly think Troy Williamson will make some noise and possibly end up as the best WR in the draft, or atleast a top 15 pick. If he can truly show he's 6'2 and can run a 4.4, he could be tops in my opinion.

First, what the hell were they doing watching him for 10-15 minutes? Second, 10-15 minues of masturbation? Ouch. The fact they were even watching him with binoculars and a telescope is almost worse than him actually doing that. I remember a friend and I were driving by a house and a light shade over a window with what looked like 2 people going at it, after a couple of minutes of laughing our asses off about it, we finally figured out they were walking on a treadmill.

Aww crap, now I'm gonna have to root against a Tar Heel.

He apparently didn't hurt himself at all in the Senior Bowl and is projected by ESPN to be in the 3rd-4th round. Can't say I had heard of him before the mention on the board here.

About Ole Miss new football coach

It was at this Arkansas site, but now I can't find it on the message board, maybe you can. http://arkansas.scout.com/ -
We will see if Gordon can put a team on his back and carry them to 56 wins and an Eastern Conference championship. AI is quite possibly the best player 6 foot or under in the history of the NBA. Gordon is very talented in his own right, but he doesn't have nearly the handle or quickness of AI. AI might be a thug to people, but he's one hell of a talent. Gordon will be very solid also, no slight to him. I just have trouble comparing anyone to AI, same with trying to compare centers to Shaq. As for a comparison for Okafor, I would lean more towards Alonzo Mourning over Brand. Brand is a 6'7 PF with great athleticism and hands the size of Godzilla, he's a very unique and good player. Thats hard for me to admit, as he's a dookie.

Carnell measured in at 5-11 212 pounds, which is adequate for a back in the NFL. He's also being called the best offensive player at the senior bowl. Scouts are loving his intelligence, strength, and toughness. He also did very well today in pass blocking drills. I think he's gonna be something special.

You shot a gumball out of your ass at your best friend at a bowling alley? Thats just sick. And no, I have no idea why that was my first thought when you made that statement over a possible lesbian act. I think I'm sick today . -
Texas has a good one also, https://records.txdps.state.tx.us/soSearch/soSearch.cfm

Yep, most of the unheralded guys playing at smaller schools have to perform well during their "big game" against a national power to get on scouts maps. Beating FSU anytime during the mid to late 90's is an awesome feat. Just noticed your avatar SoxFan101, I bought that card a couple of months ago also, it rocks

Speaking of the Nuggets. They are apparently interesting in hiring George Karl according to ESPN Insider.

Here is a story I thought is hilarious about the new Ole Miss coach and his crazy personality. Its from the Razorbacks board. "I read this story about coach Orgeron on the Ole Miss Spirit and thought some of you might like it. Apparently, Coach Orgeron called his first team meeting the other day. I was told that in about a 15 minute period, he cussed and yelled more than most men do in their entire lives. He came in to the locker room to his new team and stood there staring at his team. He started to talk in his strong Cajun accent and immediately began yelling at his new team that this 4-7 s**t isn't going to cut it. He talked about how the last game he coached was the national championship and screamed that it was a g*d d**n embarassment to win anything less than 10 games. He went on yelling about how he recruited Leinart and Bush and that that he didn't come to Ole Miss to have a g*d d**n losing seasons or even to go to this bull s**t Cotton Bowl and get g*d d**n thirteenth place. Thirteenth place is bull s**t and he came here to win. He said that his team was going to play defense and hit hard. G*d d****t his team was going to play with g*d d***n passion and they were going to whip some a***s. He then passed a box around the room and said he wanted every g*d d**n earring in the room in the box. He isn't going to have any f*****g p***y girls on his team and wanted every piece of bull s**t earring in that box right now. With the team stunned faced with about as opposite a person as one could have to Cutcliffe, Coach O started to walk towards the door. He looked back at the team as they passed around the box and said, "I'm going to walk out of here right now, and when I come back in here, I'm going to have my shirt off, and I want everyone of you motherf*****s to have your shirts off too." He walked out and everyone, confused, started taking their shirts off. Sure enough, O walked back in, bigger than alot of the guys on the team, without his shirt on. He started yelling and telling the team that they needed to get loud. He said, "When I point to this side of the room, I want you to say 'Ole Miss.' When I point to this side, I want you to say, 'Wild Boys.'" Standing there with no shirt on with every guy in the room shirtless, started pointing to each side of the room. Half the team would yell, "Ole Miss" while the other would yell "Wild Boys." Apparently it got pretty crazy and guys started flipping chairs, yelling, and throwing cooler across the room while chanting Ole Miss... Wild Boys. He then stopped and said, "One more thing. If any of you motherf*****s thinks you can take me, you come up here and get a piece of me right now." He gave everyone an opportunity to come up and fight him and said, "That's what I thought," and walked out of the room. In another story, Lane was out passing with another player, and Coach O apparently ran up to him, tackled him, stripped the ball, and took off running down the field. "

I'm not saying the Patriots are as good of a team as the Steelers of the 70's, I'm a huge Steelers fan and would never admit that anyway :-). The Steelers had 9 HOF's from those teams whether they were deserved for numbers or for the Super Bowls is debatable. I just said the Patriots are dominating the NFL now like those teams of the past did during their tenure of greatness.

With the Patriots mostly healthy and 2 weeks to prepare for a team, yikes for the Eagles. This is a Patriots dynasty on the same level as the Steelers of the 70's, the 49'ers of the 80's and the Cowboy's of the 90's.

I have no clue how UNC moved up to #3 while WF sits two spots below them, just doesn't make any sense. But then again, when has a coaches poll ever made any sense. -
Again Favre etc didn't face top competition in college either. Plenty of scouts have seen Alex Smith play and think very highly of him. It doesn't matter where you play college, if you can play, you can play. If you don't think he's good, thats fine and thats one thing, but to say he won't be good because where he played isn't a valid argument. Charlie Frye is another possible first round draft pick and will be a very good pro QB, he went to Akron. Alex Smith faced Texas A&M, New Mexico, North Carolina, Wyoming, and Pittsburgh who all played in bowl games. Not to mention BYU, Air Force, and Colorado State just missed bowl games by 1 win. It's tough to argue his competition was below even MAC level competition which is very solid and what Roethlisberger, Pennington, and Leftwich faced.

AFC CHAMPIONSHIP POLL
Palehosefan replied to NUKE_CLEVELAND's topic in A and J's Olde Tyme Sports Pub
"How do you blame a running back for losing 3 AFC Championship games if you're gonna blame anyone blame Cower." Bingo Kalapse, the QB touches the ball every single snap. He is the one that controls every part of the offense. Bettis did have a fumble while trying to stretch on a 4th down run, but he didn't throw 3 interceptions and kill any chance Pitt had. I blame Cowher more than anyone for the losses, teams just come more prepared than he does. As for Ben carrying the Steelers to the AFC championship, that simply didn't happen. Yes he helped out tremendously in the regular season. But it was the running game and the defense that carried the Steelers to the AFC championship, including their first playoff game when Ben choked again and the Steelers managed to squeek it out with defense. Hopefully Jerome will come back for another year and try to get closer to 3rd/4th place on the rushing list. -

Regular season wins are nice, but when you choke in your only two playoff starts, not much else you can say. He made some absolutely horrible throws in the playoffs, yes he's a rookie, but he did choke this year. I'm not giving up hope for the future with him, I'm just pissed that Jerome's probable last chance was ruined. -

Yep its tough not to when you give up 3 interceptions and a fumble. Like I said earlier, everyone decided to choke in the same game. The Patriots are an amazing team though. Couldn't have picked a worse time to completely fall apart. Cowher is now 1-4 in AFC championship games, yikes. -

AFC CHAMPIONSHIP POLL
Palehosefan replied to NUKE_CLEVELAND's topic in A and J's Olde Tyme Sports Pub
Ben is on his way to choking another game away. As great of a rookie season as he has had, he will be known more for being a choker. You will never see a better team than the Patriots, they combine good talent with amazing coaching and a very smart QB, pretty much unbeatable in the playoffs. Especially when they are facing a rookie QB who is in WAY over his head right now. In fact everyone for the Steelers are choking right now, whether its Hines Ward dropping a pass, Jerome fumbling again, or the Steelers secondary getting torched. I'm very very dissapointed they didn't come better prepared.
