Illinois is destroying a very nice young Oregon team. Aaron Brooks and Malik Hairston are one of the top young backcourts in the nation. Oregon will be a very solid team by the end of the year. Illinois is destroying people, forget post depth/strength, this Ill team is headed for big things. -
Weis reportedly to coach ND
Palehosefan replied to Dick Allen's topic in A and J's Olde Tyme Sports Pub
Thats a great hire if true. Lots of NFL teams have been interested in him for head coaching jobs the past few years. I hope he sticks with ND for 4-5 years atleast. -
Indiana, WF, MSU, and UNC are all keeping touch. WF is so high because teammate Mike Conley loves Chris Paul. Davis has the location advantage and Roy/Izzo are recruiting him the hardest from afar.
-
I'm sorry but Kristin Kreuk scares me. I just don't see it with her.

Randolph Morris at Kentucky outplayed Dwight Howard both times they met last year, Dwight looked timid for both 1st halves and turned it on the 2nd halves. They didn't run much offense through Oden in the 1st half and paid the price, but he does need to get into much better shape, I think he will. But I can see your point, if they could mix Hansbrough's tenacity with Oden's skills, he would be unstoppable.
-
He's only 16 and a junior, the tenacity will come in time I believe. He has all the tools in the world, he will learn how to use them. Eddy Curry looked very lazy as a senior and look... wait bad example ;-).
-
His coach said Mich State and UNC are still recruiting him the hardest. He says he wants to go to college, but no chance even if he wanted too. Too much pressure from everywhere else.
-
Here's Nikki Cox...
-
Tonight on ESPN2 a great high school game is on. UNC commit Tyler Hansbrough gets to test himself against to Junior Greg Oden. Oden is a 7'0 center that likely would have been the 1st pick in last years draft as a HS sophomore. Hansbrough is a tenacious 6'9 post player that will lead college ball in free throws. Should be an interesting matchup for those that are interested. Mike Conley is on Oden's team and is the top junior point guard in the nation. Ben Hansrbrough is Tyler's brother and is a good junior players, can hit the 3 and nice size. Just an fyi.
-
Besides the fact that she looks like she's trying to pass some gas, she's hot. But I haven't seen one that can beat Nicki Cox in my opinion.

I can agree with that, there weren't any possible white or black candidates better than Spurrier out there. Everyone knew that, I don't find any problem going right after Spurrier. -

I don't understand why Indiana doesn't run more. You have all the pieces to be a very solid running team, and the lack of pieces, especially inside, to be a good halfcourt team which it looks to me like they are doing. I think Strickland, Wright, Vaden, White, and Ewing would be awesome in a running style. Just my opinion. -
Jim the Dec 7th edition of org reports talks about closers for us. Pollok, Wasserman, and Bajaneru. Saying Pollok has 90 mph fastball and great sinker I believe it was, didn't say much else about their stuff, just talked about where they came from. Then these were the chi-lites. * The White Sox' failed attempt to sign Omar Vizquel could be good for the farm system. They would have lost a second-round draft pick as compensation, and shortstop prospect Wilson Valdez has a better chance to make the 2005 team without Vizquel on the roster. • The Sox set their 40-man roster by adding righthanders Kris Honel, Matt Smith and Sean Tracey; lefthander Paulino Reynoso; shortstop Pedro Lopez; and first baseman/outfielder Casey Rogowski. They lost second baseman Ruddy Yan on waivers to the Rangers.
-
I would have to go with Alex Smith as who I think should win. But White has his second all but wrapped up in my opinion.

Stuart gets on my nerves sometimes, but overall I like him, he brings excitement to the broadcast. I can only take listening to Jon Anderson, Steve Barthelamu(sp?), etc for so long. But he's not my favorite ESPN anchor, my favorite is either Berman or Scott Van Pelt. -
