  1. I got this... "This subject's laterality quotient is: 5.9 Placing this subject in the middle decile."
  2. Here's the quote Crimson, Yogi speaking about Mickey Mantle.
  3. Crimson you don't follow Yogi Berraism's do you :-).
  4. Dang I'm shocked how many other lefties are on this board. I'm aphibious, I write and try to bowl with my left hand. I switch hit, and mas.. uh nevermind.
  5. I'm not too fond of fences either. When I was 10 I fell out of a tree and landed on the fence, I was hanging there by my underwear. Instead of helping me, my friends were laughing their asses off. I guess I can't blame them.
  6. Great game, Dallas looks really good getting Julius Jones and an extra 1st round pick instead of Stephen Jackson. 30 carries 198 yards.
  7. Would have gotten the axed a long time ago, but he signed something like a 7 year deal a few years ago when he was a hot commodity. UVA's hot start this year has saved him a bit longer, but I wouldn't be suprised to see him axed and UVA take on the rest of his contract when UVA enters ACC play. I was wrong, its even worse, 10 year extension, ouch.
  8. Wow that was an amazing fast break, best I've seen in a while. Hilton is rocking, awesome atmosphere.
  9. ISU sticking with Virginia. Devin continuing to play well with 30 of the Cav's 47 points. Gillen still insane with TO's, calls one right before TV timouts. There's a running joke in the ACC about Gillen and his TO's, normally he's out of them with 10 mins to go in each half.
  10. Thats fine, it just hit me wrong also. I honestly hope I don't come off as having a blind UNC allegiance. There are plenty of UNC people I can't stand from Peter Gammons, to Jeff McInnis. Marion would join that list in a heartbeat if she admits to it or is proven wrong. I do give her the benefit of the doubt partially because of my UNC love, but Marion has been dominating track since her HS days in California, similar to Allyson Felix.
  11. I have to say, I didn't expect something like that from you. Normally you put up a great argument.
  12. This might have something to do with it. That was her first race since having a baby, not to mention all the distraction of BALCO at the time. I know you are insinuating she had to stop the steroids and was afraid to run because of it, but then wouldn' that effect her long jump also?
  13. Not many can keep a program going like Spurrier can, but Zook showed he could recruit with the best of them. He also went 7-4 this year with losses to Miss State, Tennessee, LSU, and Georgia. His best two players were Channing Crowder and Chris Leak, both were only sophomores. Zook lost his 4 games by a combined total of 19 points, and only 5 combined points in the losses to LSU and Tenn. I don't blame Zook for Florida's "fall", I blame Steve Spurrier. Not many can coach at his level, he took Florida out of the gutter and made them instant contenders. You can't blame Zook for not being Spurrier, how many programs in any sport follow a legend with anything remotely close? FSU will deal with the same thing when Bowden retires, as will OU, USC, Texas, if their coaches leave for any reason.
  14. lol I was like dang this thread looks familiar. Any reason for bringing this back up? Its still Conte's word vs. Jones word and Marion has a lie detector test backing up her word. I'm suspicious of her, but nothing factual yet to make me completely turn on her.
  15. I have a feeling Zook has some good ties in Florida now and that Illinois will be mining Florida like 95% of the rest of the college programs are trying to do. I can actually see Zook getting some good kids though.
  16. The one I read had the Bulls giving up Curry to Golden State I believe it was, GS sending Mike Dunleavy to his dad(The Clippers) and the Clippers sending Wilcox to the Bulls. The Dybber beat me
  17. Nice job, you guys have two good classy coaches running your basketball and football teams now. You are in good hands.
  18. I have to disagree that Michigan will beat Texas, Michigan does have a great offense and Texas is one dimensional. But everyone has known Texas is one dimensional all season long and Texas still had the number #2 rushing game in the nation at 302 yards per game. Michigans run defense is decent at 27th in the nation, but I don't think they can stop them enough. That and Texas still throws for 164 yards a game, which is more than I expected. Cal is vulernable now in the passing game, they lost their leading receiver Geoff McArthur(862 yards) for the season. Their next highest receiver has a total of 414 yards on the year. They should try to smash Texas Tech in the mouth with Aarington and Lynch, thats what Texas did to Tech and Tech never did put 8 in the box.
  19. lol I don't think so Rowand44, but I enjoy always having someone to argue with
  20. Tough question Rowand, USC and OU have more talent, but Auburn went through the toughest schedule. All 3 have very good O's and D's. I have to go with Oklahoma though, White and Peterson are almost an unstoppable combo. That and I think Bob Stoops is the best coach of the bunch.
  21. Texas has put up a fight against OU several times also. Its really a toss up between Texas and OU.
  22. Tough for Cal, they are gonna have a tough time with Tech also, both teams with dominant O's and Cal's top WR Geoff McArthur broke his leg and will miss the bowl game. All-around tough week for Cal.
  23. Yep I was projecting more on who I thought should be in, I know Michigan is in automatically and that Utah will make it in. In reality this is likely what will happen. USC vs. OU Cal vs. Michigan Auburn vs. VT Pitt. vs Utah Michigan has enough talent to beat Cal, especially on offense. USC vs. OU is great Auburn will have some problems with VT Utah should destroy Pitt Having payed against both teams, I think Louisville is better than Utah. But Louisville is for real, some will think they are overrated, but they should destroy Boise in a non BCS that is as good as the BCS games. It is too bad we won't get to see Louisville play someone like Cal or Texas to see how good they really are. But they will be very good again next year with Brohm leading them.
  24. You won't learn much from the game, but yeah it will be entertaining. I know Louisville belongs on an elite level, this game will prove to me just how good or overrated Boise's program is right now. I'm expecting Louisville to win something like 63 to 35 over Boise. The best matchups to me with the 8 BCS teams would be this... Pitt faces Boise in crappiest BCS game. Virginia Tech faces Louisville Auburn faces Cal/Texas USC faces OU Then winner of USC/OU would get title and Auburn would get a share of the title if they can beat Cal or Texas.
