Can't wait to see Texas get their b**** asses rolled by Bama. Texas gets everything in life on a golden platter, just sickening. -

Whew, hell of a game. This TTU team is a hell of a lot of fun to watch, and everyone is back next year. -

Washington @ Texas Tech 6 p.m. CTRL ESPN 2 tonight Should be a fun one to watch. Pat Knight has emulated Roy Williams' coaching style with a little Big Knight motion to motion offense thrown in whenever the fastbreak doesn't work. -

Goodness, this is by far the best UNC has played this year. I almost feel bad for MSU. -
QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Dec 1, 2009 -> 02:38 PM) Ha. Yeah I'm actually going to test drive a Terrain this weekend if I can. I really like the look and all of the standard features. Prob is it's a new model and I've been advised that new models can be really hit or miss. Might get screwed if no one buys them and they drop the line after a year or two. Plus if I get a new Ford I get the 0% for 60. GMC isn't offering any kind of financing. I'm just not a fan of the equinox look. Too cross-overy for me. I want an suv that looks like an suv but isn't a tank. Plus it's Chevy. The Escape gets 18/24 (the v6 4x4), which is essentially what i get now. I thought about the hybrid with that 41 mpg city, but i need to get a v6. I'm tired of having little to no power. Yep, I understand about the Equinox look. Just something about it I didn't really see myself in. I think the Terrain is here to stay. The gas mileage and look are fantastic, and it has some really nice features. Rearview back-up camera comes standard, and it has a really smooth, quiet ride, and it has the most rear-passenger legroom in the class. I'm 6'2 and I had PLENTY of room sitting in the backseat. I also worried about it being a new model, but I also realized that it's the first fuel-efficient SUV from GMC, which is one of the 5 "keystone" companies that GM is focusing it's renewed strategy on.

I'll piggy back the question, with one of my own. I'm in the same boat as you. I'm about to purchase a GMC Terrain. It's MSRP is 28,325, and I'm trying to figure out what offer I should make and what offer I should stick to for the "out the door" price. Also, since I have been looking at smaller SUV's for a while, I would recommend looking at the Equinox one more time. You might be able to get them down to closer to 20k, but keep the 22/32 mileage.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Nov 30, 2009 -> 03:09 PM) Thats a pretty big get. He can recruit AND coach. You have ND people saying he's coming to ND, and OU people saying he's staying. Very interesting. -

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Nov 30, 2009 -> 01:47 PM) I think the ACC smokes the Big 10. 8-3. The Big Ten hasnt looked great thus far this year. Next year may be better, but I think they are not quite there yet. The ACC is a giant turd this season, I wouldn't be surprised if it ended up as the 3rd or 4th rated conference. I just don't see a team with Final Four possibilities, and the Elite 8 might be stretching it. -

QUOTE (zenryan @ Nov 29, 2009 -> 05:14 PM) A top 3 pick and two picks in the 33-40 range makes me one happy Buc fan!! If some of these top underclassmen come out like Bradford, McCoy, etc, this could be one of the best drafts in history. -

In the "only PHF cares" information department, Texas Tech is 7-0 to start the season with Washington coming to town. Should be a great match-up believe it or not. -

QUOTE (knightni @ Nov 28, 2009 -> 01:05 AM) That's Brey's biggest fault. The team is never deeper than 7 or 8. The bench guys never get any experience or minutes. When they hit the Big East part of the schedule, the big boys tire them out. Welcome to the world of the Duke coaching tree. -

QUOTE (Tex @ Nov 27, 2009 -> 02:36 PM) You called that one. This A&M team, with all the freshmen, will be scary good the next three seasons or so. A&M gets top 20 classes every single year, and it still led up to a 6-6 season. Their defense is one of the worst in college football, but their offense finally caught up to the rest of the Big 12 South. The problem is that Texas, OU, Tech, and Okie State all have defenses now. Baylor is still the whipping boy, especially if Robert Griffin chooses track over football after that injury. -

I was over the top with wanting Wall hurt. But I can't stand seeing kids like Wall and Cousins who are paid to play at a school, have no possible way that they were eligible for admission, and play for a coach that doesn't get caught cheating until he leaves a school. Put all that together at one of the biggest cheating basketball programs in history, and it's just disgusting to see them win at all. -

It's going to be a great day when Wall blows out a knee celebrating like little b****. God I hate Kentucky. I would actually root for Duke over UK. UK is everything that is wrong with college basketball. -

Zoom, looks like Varez Ward just had a major injury in warm-ups for Texas. So Avery Bradley could be getting more minutes. Tough blow for Varez. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/teams/stats?teamId=251 -

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Nov 22, 2009 -> 03:45 PM) Didn't they just win a Super Bowl with this staff? They won it solely last year on the fact they had arguably the greatest defense in NFL history. This year the defense has taken a step back because Polomalu can't stay healthy, and the rest of the team weaknesses have come to the forefront. Very similar to the 2006 super bowl hangover. -

Steelers season officially over. This is the most talented Steelers team since the 70's versions, but the coaching staff is one of the worst in the league. If Tomlin has enough brains to fire the OC and special teams coordinator after today, there might still be a chance. But I'm not holding my breath. -

QUOTE (Palehosefan @ Jul 22, 2009 -> 11:49 PM) Oklahoma -11 @ Texas Tech Might have to actually take up betting for that one. OU has lost their last two trips to Lubbock and needs some serious payback for the year changing raping last year in Norman. Oh well, UNC and TTU should be in some of the pre-season top 25 polls, should be another fun year. Looks like that was a pretty good prediction.
