  1. Sonny Weems is a very solid pick. He's a heck of an athlete.
  2. Dorsey gets to go head to head with Oden everyday in practice now. Another nice pick by Portland.
  3. That's a little "shady". How did Arthur's mom quit her job to follow him around in basketball?
  4. Arthur added to Oden and Aldridge in the big man rotation, nice.
  5. I have to admit, I have never even heard of George Hill.
  6. Chalmers to Houston, and Arthur to SA would seem to make sense.
  7. Thank God MJ isn't running a team I really love. Traded next years 1st for Ajinca.
  8. Portland with Paul Allen's money... PG. Bayless, Blake SG. Roy, Jones SF. Outlaw, Webster PF. Aldridge, Diogu C. Oden, Frye That's just nasty. And the 27th pick coming up.
  9. You could ask greasy, but I would bet that Bayless would see some time at the 2 guard position beside Ford as well as some minutes at the point.
  10. Udonis Haslem for Jamal Tinsley now? That might be interesting for both sides.
  11. MJ . Kwame Brown, Adam Morrison, and now a backup with a top 10 selection. Yikes.
  12. Bobcats get Bayless? At the very least he would be a valuable trade asset. Or is it Lopez here?
  13. Way to go Clippers. Bayless available and didn't have to trade up.
  14. LOL at the Knicks. Bayless and Gordon available...
  15. From RealGM, "It is rumored that Pat Riley wanted Rudy Gay, Michael Conley Jr and pick 5 in exchange for pick 2, but that is unlikely to happen. Chances are that the Heat remain at 2 and will take Beasley." LOL, hitting the crackpipe.
  16. Heat have to select the #2 pick. They traded away their 09 1st in the Ricky Davis deal, and the rules are that a team has to select a 1st round pick at least once every two years. So the trades wouldn't happen until Miami selects.
  17. I think a lot of it has to do with Jay-Z trying to make room to get Lebron in 2010. I can't believe I just typed that.
  18. I'm wondering if the Clippers moved past the Knicks to make sure they can get Russell Westbrook.
  19. Riley has a chance to either solidify the Heat's future, or the Heat's present. I'm just hoping he doesn't mix and match. If you are going to deal Wade, then you have to deal Haslem and Marion as well. I am still having nausea over Riley's fascination with Mayo. All the questions over Beasley's immaturity in South Beach, and he wants to bring OJ Mayo's posse around? Nice. As long as the Heat don't draft Mayo at #2, I suppose I will be happy with the outcome. How about this three way trade :-)? Heat send: #2, Marion, Blount Clippers send: Elton Brand, #7 pick Grizzles send: Lowry, Miller, #5 pick Heat receive: Brand, #7 pick, Miller Clippers receive: Marion, Lowry, #5 pick Grizzlies receive: #2 pick, Blount
  20. How would that even be possible though? I might have missed it on this thread. Outside of Luol Deng and Tyrus Thomas, I can't think of what would be worth the #2 pick overall.
  21. Jermaine O'Neal to Toronto? http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives...oining_toronto/ O'Neal and Bosh in the frontcourt? That will work.
  22. From ESPN's article, "They could include the No. 5 pick, Mike Miller and the Heat's choice of either Kyle Lowry or Mike Conley." I couldn't believe Conely would be involved, but I'll take it. As for Marion's scoring numbers, he had Chris Quinn as his PG. Brand didn't exactly tear it up in his short time last year either with 18 ppg and 8 rpg.
  23. Both players contracts are expiring after this season. Brand gives you 20 and 10 on average assuming he's healthy again, Marion has put up 18 and 10 as a 2nd or 3rd option his entire career. Moving from #7 to #5 will move the Clippers past the Knicks who are looking at many of the same players, specifically guards.
