UNC won 1st round by about 40, 2nd by 30, 3rd by 20 etc, hopefully it continues.
I kid, Louisville is the best team UNC has played all year so it should be a great game. Ginyard and Ellington are going to get to try to guard several 6' types.
He looked solid in the Mickey D's game. He beats his men up the court for easy buckets which will fit in perfectly, and he has some very nice post moves, but he has to put on 20 pounds to have any hope of banging inside.
Texas Tech's spring is going well so far, and there is news now that Tech is seeking a waiver for sitting out a year on DT Chris Perry's transfer from Miami. If he can be added as well as several 4 star DL from Juco, this could finally be the year Tech wins the South.
Thanks for the update Rex. What kind of competition is he really playing against? I saw some of his video's and the guys that were guarding him were 6'2 white guys, which left me with a little bit of concern. Scoring 40 and putting up 20 rebounds which he has done several times is a great feat against anyone, and I know he's talented, but I'm just wondering what kind of talent he is playing against.
Ok, something screwy is going on with the board. This post was added onto the East region and is now on the college basketball main thread. I saw knightni's post before mine do the same.
As for this game, somebody is going to get seriously hurt with the gigantic NCAA logos on the floors. I have seen at least 7 different players take hard falls because of that crap. I guess the NCAA would rather it be known for sure who's runnin the tourney over protecting the players best interest. Gotta love it.
Poor Clemson, still has absolutely no bench. But I'm sure Purnell will improve that in years to come as well. Oglesby is terrible and Sykes is beyond terrible.
Oh ok. Well the walk-ons came in with 4 minutes left and gave up 14 points. Wasn't much of a game to prepare for Indiana/Arkansas though, but it was great to see Lawson finally 100%.
