  1. Just don't get beat in the 1st round is all I'm asking. Historically Roy hasn't cared about the conference tourney, but I think he needs to put a little more emphasis on it this year with Tennessee and even Duke looming to attain the #1 east seed if they win their tourneys. That and UNC and Duke are tied with 16 ACC tourney championships a piece. :-)
  2. Dick had a guy right in front of him that's better than Scheyer off the bench as well in Danny Green. Danny Green 12 ppg, 5.4 rpg, 2.1 apg, 1.4 bpg, 1.3 spg Jon Scheyer 11.3 ppg, 4.1 rpg, 2.4 apg, .3 bpg, 1.3 spg Sherron Collins 9.4 ppg, 1.9 rpg, 2.8 apg, .1 bpg, 1.2 spg
  3. Wade finally going to shut it down for the season, http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3286076 Now the question is, with Beasley as the obvious top choice in the draft, do the Heat draft Beasley and try to re-sign Marion? Wade, Marion, Beasley at 2,3,4 might be interesting to watch.
  4. One of the most under-rated players in ACC history just finished his career with a bang. Sean Singletary led Virginia to a win over Maryland with 27 points and 6 assists. Some NBA team needs to take a chance on him in the 2nd around, I don't think he will be much different than a Jameer Nelson type.

  6. Now I have seen it all. Clemson, as the ranked team, almost chokes the game away against Virginia Tech, but pulls out a win at home and the fans rush the court. That's just embarassing. Either way, Duke gets Clemson in the ACC tourney now, that should be fun.
  7. Also heard an interesting story about the douche Ocho Cinco. Remember this little nugget on our march to the Super Bowl? Great teammate that Mucho Stinko: MORE THAN TWO YEARS LATER, VINDICATION Posted by Mike Florio on March 6, 2008, 10:46 p.m. We made one of our biggest stirs ever with this blurb from the evening of January 9, 2006: “A league source tells us that multiple members of the Cincinatti Bengals witnessed a troubling incident as the team prepared to take the field for the second half of Sunday’s playoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. “Per the source, the last few minutes of intermission were ticking away, when the players were startled by the sight and sound of a helmet slamming against the glass pane of the training room door. Inside, receiver Chad Johnson and receivers coach Hue Jackson were engaged in an altercation. At one point, Johnson was seen holding Jackson in a headlock. “Coach Marvin Lewis entered the training room to intervene, and Johnson (per the source) took a swing at him.” The team denied any such incident, and Johnson called a press conference for the sole purpose of claiming that nothing happened. Boomer Esiason of CBS partially corroborated our report, and Johnson eventually would concede that something happened. More than two years later, one of the players who witnessed the incident has shared his perceptions with the world, courtesy of the magic that is YouTube. On Monday night, speaking at a recent meeting of the Central Maryland Browns Backers, former Bengals defensive tackle Shaun Smith acknowledged that Chad Johnson took a swing at Lewis — and made contact. Asked at the 5:20 mark of the clip about the incident that occurred in the team’s locker room during the only playoff game of the Lewis era, Smith said of Johnson: “He swung on Marvin. . . . [Johnson] shattered the training room glass. . . . He swung on Marving [and] hit Marvin in the eye. . . . Then he tried to swing on wide receivers coach Hue Jackson, who’s now in Baltimore.”
  8. Rooney's have always stood firmly to morals. This woman abuse has become a major problem on this team as well.
  9. Looks like the Steelers best defensive player last year James Harrison could be cut after being arrested and admitting to assault on his girlfriend. Good riddance.
  10. Also wanted to give my first and probably last compliment to Duke fans. They did a wonderful job with the Eve situation, and didn't do any stupid cheers. Well done.
  11. lol Kap. That's a nice, clean site FlaSoxx, nice job. I have recently started learning ActionScript 3, which is basically Java's twin brother, and XML with Flash. It's pretty neat stuff, letting other's be able to add content to the site without much web knowledge. Anyways, thanks for the responses.
  12. It was a great game, and I truly thought UNC was going to lose once Duke's 3's started dropping again in the second half. Danny Green saved the day today. He has been phenominal for the past 5 or so games after stinking it up early in the year.
  13. Can't really be a bust in the NBA when you aren't expected to do much in the first place.
  14. Speaking of which, Tyler was apparently named Sporting News POY along with SI's POY. Congrats Tyler.
  15. Tyler is staying 4 years, he absolutely LOVES college and isn't going to be drafted in the lottery anyways. However, I would expect Wayne and Lawson to be gone unfortunately, regardless of how ready they are.
  16. Pretty safe to say UCLA is the Duke of the west. Refs handed UCLA a couple of wins in the past week.
  17. I just wanted to get an opinion from the masses on the usage of Adobe Flash in websites. What do you think of it? Do you like all Flash websites? Do you prefer HTML websites with some Flash integrated inside? Do you just prefer all HTML? Just looking for opinions, as I design using some Flash and HTML and was wondering what the general public feels about Flash now. I know that some absolutely love it, like myself, and others absolutely despise it and have it blocked.
  18. I had to LOL at this quote from Danny Green about Ty Lawson, "We’ve all been in his ear,” said junior Danny Green, Lawson’s roommate. “It’s like, ‘Ty, you’ve been out for a month. When are you going to come back? Stop being a girl and get back on the court already.’"
  19. It's no different than the team has played all season long. TTU has only lost twice in the past 25+ games at home, and only once this year on a miracle 30 footer at the buzzer by OU. On the road Tech has been blown out by New Mexico, Oklahoma State, Texas, Nebraska, A&M, Kansas, and even lost to Centenary and Sam Houston State on the road. The disparity is ridiculous, Tech blew out A&M by 15 at home, and then lost to the same team by 40 on the road. One thing is for sure, Pat is going to have to make up for his dad's complete lack of desire to recruit. Tech has some very good guards on the roster and coming in, but low to mid-major talent at best in the frontcourt.
  20. Yep, Aldrich looked really good. KU is going to be a very tough out this year, I was actually impressed with Self's coaching ability tonight. He destroyed the 2-3 zone.
  21. Oh, just a blast. This is the most retarded team in history. At home they are one of the top 10 teams in basketball, on the road they are in the 300's.
  22. I don't know what it's going to take for programs to realize that Duke coaching branches just aren't the answer.
