Can't imagine any team not looking like s*** playing with their 3rd string PG. But yeah, this game is UUUUUUUUUUUGLY. -
Anybody want Shaq? Come on, please. Ok fine, maybe you will take Pat Riley? No?

Like 99 said, balance in the key. You build programs with the 4 year talents, and you win championships by adding elite talent to the core 4 year guys. UNC follows up a 4 year type class of say Jawad Williams, Jackie Manual, Melvin Scott or a Bobby Frasor, Marcus Ginyard, Danny Green, Tyler Hansbrough with an early exit type class with Ray Felton, Sean May, Rashad McCants or a Ty Lawson, Wayne Ellington, Brandan Wright type class. Still, you can take a program from annonymity to a national title contender with one or two elite recruits like Kansas State. If push came to shove, I would rather be a Kansas State this year than say a Butler. -

#10 QB in the nation commits to Duke, http://northcarolina.scout.com/a.z?s=78&am...amp;nid=2789796 Seriously. He's a heck of a pick-up. I don't even have a joke to make about it. -

Texas Tech went into Austin tonight for their annual raping in each and every sport played. -

I'm waiting until Kansas actually has to play someone. 14 out of 19 games have been played at home. The toughest competition so far has been playing at 11-6 USC. Pretty easy to pile up defensive statistics against that schedule. Playing at Kansas State should be a telling game. -

For the most part you are correct. However, Texas uses that recruiting style. They pressure the top kids in state to commit early and stay firm or they will move on, and always end up with a great class before everyone else gets started. -

Texas A&M loses 3rd in a row in 5 OT's to Baylor. A&M goes at Okl State. and then welcomes Texas, they could be 1-5 in conference to start. Baylor looks to be the second best team in the Big 12 so far this year. -

Tech beats Mizzou 92-84. Tech shot 50 FT's tonight, never seen that before. This is the game after Kansas shot 45 FT's againts Mizzou. -

Yes Frierson re-committed to Illinois as well. He's only a 2 star on Scout, but he's a physically ready LB. Good pick-up. -

Miami has been losing a lot of recruits to Florida and now a player in the past week or so. Last year's #18 DT Chris Perry is transferring to Texas Tech. Huge get :-). -

Good commitment for KU, he was Texas Tech's commit for a while before he realized he didn't want to compete with his brother at TTU for the RB position. Tech wanted him as a safety. -

Thanks for the info 101, you and I don't always get a long, but you have some great recruiting sources. -
Awesome movie, haven't seen anything like it before. I will say this, if you get motion sickness easy, you might want to be wary.

Don't know what to expect from TTU now. Big men are finally developing and playing very well now in Cook and Rizvic, and took it to A&M's hellacious frontcourt. John Roberson is one of the better freshmen point guards in the nation. Voskuil is one of the best 3 point shooters in the nation, but has trouble getting his own shot off. Zeno has his head up his butt some games and others decides to be a leader, same with Charlie Burgess. Tech has beaten top 20 teams like Gonzaga, and A&M, and played Butler very well. Then has gotten blown out at Okl State, lost to Centenary and Sam Houston State. Normally Knight's teams get better as the season wears on and the players learn the system, so I don't really know what to expect in conference. Tech should beat OU at OU now that OU is without Blake Griffen for a month. The only unwinnable game I see on the schedule is at KU, and Tech normally plays KU well, but it's just not going to happen this year. I could see anywhere from 7-9 to 10-6. After Kansas, A&M, and Texas I think it's just a huge mess. -

Football recruiting weirdness for Illini and myself as a UNC fan. LB Evan Frierson commits to UNC on official visit, backs out an hour later, commits to Illinois the next day, and now he has backed out a few days later and is open between Illinois and UNC. Hilarious(or sad?) stuff. -

http://mbd.scout.com/mb.aspx?S=78&F=14...1&t=1867592 There's the video. Watch the end of it and find a punch thrown. He stops before he even gets to Paulus, Paulus gets bumped in the nose by another FSU player before Reid even gets there, this is all after Paulus punches at the ball in the FSU players hand and then proceeds to try and kick anyone in the balls. God I hope his brother isn't as big of a b**** as he is. -

Could you find video of the FSU player swinging at Paulus? I can give you a hint, you won't find any. They showed the replay several times and Reid acted like he was going to and then held back at the last second. -

I don't mind, I know most on here could care less if UNC wins. Couple of great wins tonight for me, UNC sneaks by again and Texas Tech blows out A&M. -

LOL at Duke. Paulus swings at FSU player, falls on the ground and starts kicking at people, then fakes like he got hit in the face and an FSU player gets a technical. It just doesn't get any better. -
I'm going to laugh my head off when someone gives Faneca Steve Hutchinson type money. Faneca just hasn't been the same in a few years. Still, he didn't have much to work with this year in Pittsburgh, atrocious center Sean Mahan, and mediocre injured tackles.

Hey hey don't forget Rashad McCants :-).
