  1. QUOTE (dasox24 @ Jan 3, 2012 -> 01:15 PM) Same here. I understand wanting to win, but there was nothing to gain from that. I just don't understand why we were trying to win that meaningless game. Should have played Enderle, sat Urlacher, etc. And if we still won, so be it... but if we lost, then picking at #11 or #12 would get us a chance at Floyd or Jeffery... #19? Not so much. I think you will have a shot at Jeffery unless he runs a 4-4 to 4.5 40. You will also be in range for Kendall Wright and Mohamed Sanu. Sanu is seemingly a clone of Anquan Boldin coming out, but has the same desire to block as Hines Ward. Needless to say, Sanu is my second favorite WR in the draft behind Blackmon. Sanu is still raw in technique, but he has the body, hands, tenacity, and work ethic to be a star. I feel as high on him as I did on Nicks coming out. Insane catch, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ONBbN0H7Tc 16 receptions, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eAfrAhOyCn4 2 more nice catches, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C-wTVQnc3CM
  2. QUOTE (danman31 @ Jan 2, 2012 -> 10:59 PM) I don't know how any high school kid actually wants to play for that guy. You are correct, Nebraska has 9 commits total and we are in January.
  3. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jan 2, 2012 -> 12:00 AM) Bengals Steelers Falcons Saints Bengals Steelers Packers Niners Steelers Packers Packers That's how the playoffs are going to go, write that down. What if the Steelers and Bengals split their apparent series?
  4. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Dec 20, 2011 -> 07:26 AM) The 49ers defense deserves some credit, but maybe Big Ben needs to stop playing hurt all the time. A couple of those throws he missed were on him and looked to be caused by his ankle injury. The problem is that Charlie Batch is the backup, and he would be playing behind the worst OL in the league. Ben holds the ball too long sometimes, but he also takes 15-20 hits a game and keeps on playing. Tomlin had a hobbling Ben in the game with a minute left and the Steeler's down 17 points. Tomlin truly has no idea what he's doing. His only "coaching" is to stand on the sideline with a blank stare and clap occasionally.
  5. This was from a high school championship in Texas. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7rg2QEX5sqY Seems like everyone is ok, so here was a follow up image.
  6. God I hate watching Tomlin "coach". He is such a miserable coach.
  7. QUOTE (bmags @ Dec 14, 2011 -> 06:27 PM) Wait... so eric bledsoe, mo williams, chauncey billups and CP3 ... they are like the good Timberwolves. I'm betting Billups starts demanding out soon.
  8. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Dec 14, 2011 -> 10:55 AM) That would be quite the welcome to NBA hell, unless they flipped Wallace later for picks and went into tank mode. That would be the smart path.
  9. http://espn.go.com/new-york/nba/story/_/id...c-dwight-howard Magic would get Brook Lopez, Gerald Wallace, and draft picks while shedding Turkoglu and Duhon's contracts.
  10. QUOTE (bmags @ Dec 13, 2011 -> 01:34 PM) Pacers having an interesting offseason. SG-Crawford SF Granger PF West C Hibbert Very interesting. To me, that's a .500 lineup at best. But at least they would be competitive.
  11. Warriors just paid 7M for a year of Kwame Brown. 7M Kwame Brown.
  12. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Dec 12, 2011 -> 09:27 AM) I don't care what the experts keep saying, I thought NCAA basketball was much better when Indiana was bad. It doesn't really matter when a powerhouse is down, another school will step up in it's place. Schools like UConn and Ohio State have stepped up when Indiana and UCLA have been down. Arizona hasn't been the same since Lute retired, but Kentucky and Louisville have both stepped back to prominence. Arizona is on the way back to being a major program because of some insane recruiting classes. IU is following Arizona's path back to prominence with recruiting. I think we are about to be in a golden age for powerhouse programs being near the top of basketball. UCLA seems to be the only hopeless program at the moment, and they are just a good hire away from being back.
  13. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Dec 9, 2011 -> 01:08 PM) Montee Ball has really gotten no love. Not a flashy player or a flashy program. But he should be there over Richardson without a doubt.
  14. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Dec 9, 2011 -> 01:11 PM) Houston was tampering with Howard? Apparently so, http://newyork.sbnation.com/new-jersey-net...houston-rocjets
  15. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Dec 9, 2011 -> 01:01 PM) That's assuming the Lakers dont get buster for tampering. there is a second team, and I am ASSUMING it's LA. Don't know if you have seen yet, but it was actually Houston.
  16. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 8, 2011 -> 04:14 PM) He goes through a waiver. He could be picked up by Minnesota if they so choose, thats why he is pissed Yes, but I know agents are going to be telling teams to back off claims. Unwanted claims are going to be met with immediate trade demands. Should be interesting.
  17. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 8, 2011 -> 04:09 PM) Not necessarily Well, depends what he's willing to settle for as a FA.
  18. Just saw a post that Chauncey was irate over being an amnesty clause player. Does he even understand what just happened? He gets his salary and a new salary/new pick of a team. Amnesty clause players should be thanking the owners.
  19. Looks like the Knicks got a bargain on Tyson Chandler at 4 years and 58 million. Thrifty SOB's.
  20. QUOTE (ZoomSlowik @ Dec 8, 2011 -> 03:57 PM) I don't see how they could "acquire" him, their only big salaries/assets are the big 3. Mike Miller and Joel Anthony provide some contract space. But not a lot of value there.
  21. So the Knicks want to replace Amar'e with a 15-16M per year Chandler? Sounds about right.
  22. QUOTE (bmags @ Dec 8, 2011 -> 12:40 PM) Battier signed for the minimum? I'd be more scared if the Heat added more legit PF/C depth...but to be honest, Battier is a championship team type player. He's a fantastic defender on the perimeter on a team of fantastic perimeter defenders. And in the east...is there any PF/C you really need to worry about? Amare and Howard...but those teams are just not that worrisome to the heat, i'd imagine. Sigh. This sucks. Heat really want Dalembert, but he's seemingly out of the 5M price range. If Curry and Dexter Pittman can stay out of the buffet's, they should provide fouls down low. Just saw Tyson Chandler was offered a 4 year deal worth 15M per. God this league is still retarded.
  23. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Dec 8, 2011 -> 08:23 AM) Glad to see someone else (am sure there's others) that thought of him as "highly" as I did. My only surprise was how much he bulked up. But he was a can't miss prospect.
  24. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Dec 7, 2011 -> 06:18 PM) June isn't going there anymore. Really strange situation. ASU President apparently called off the deal after everything was agreed upon.
