  1. 21 names for those keeping score at home
  2. Same amount of innings for wheeler has thrown and we had a brinks trunk for him. Do it hahn.
  3. I dont know whether it is or isnt, but its 1030am in San Diego and Ozuna was still in the DR last night.
  4. How does his arm grade out after shoulder surgery? I've seen some comments he lost a lot of his velocity after the surgery. Statcast, I dont believe at least, doesnt post their OF stats publicly.
  5. Up to 70 million, probably a little less.
  6. Ryu finished 2nd in the Cy Young last year.
  7. Ryu is a significantly better pitcher than Wheeler. Please sign him. Thanks.
  8. Iirc, it wasnt the leak itself. It was the whole trade leaked. Fans and other front offices convinced they could top it made a market correction there that we were giving up a reliever with an era in the 4s for a household name. Now it's a bit funny to think about.
  9. That. Hell, he wouldnt even be on the podcast if there was some heavy mutual interest right now. Garfien is being used.
  10. Any thoughts on Cesar Hernandez? High OBP switch hitting 2bman seems like what the doctor order. Lack of positional versatility if he can no longer back up short would be the drawback.
  11. The podcast thing, I've never seen a more obvious agent set-up to draw interest from someone else (The Cubs).
  12. Unless his arm can play RF (and as a SS, it might), I would pass.
  13. Seriously. Do people really care that much were paying Abreu 14 million 3 seasons from now? Maybe an overpay, but come on.
  14. Cool. A small corner of soxtalk in shambles.
  15. There are 26 spots and I think the best use of it is a rotating bat/catcher. Collins is actually a pretty perfect fit.
  16. I mean hes not going to bash a departing minor league coach who is just starting out, a well liked one at that. You'd only expect to see positive comments from Getz. There were numerous complaints he bunted too much and plantooned real prospects. Guessing those were the reasons. "We just felt with where things are at, our player development system, that it was time to go separate ways" Pretty telling this is the Sox choice though. The soxtalk narrative was that he was the heir apparent. Not true apparently. I believed it myself but it's pretty clear they love Jirschele too, who is at the opposite side of the spectrum.
  17. Running shotgun option on 3rd and 1 is an alltime bad playcall
