I hate moving around Moncada around especially to leadoff. Jay really needs to come back.

Yeah. Of course we want to see that ops higher but even his .330 OBP from last year batting in front of Moncada and Abreu right now would be great. Jay's always gotten on base at a decent clip (Far better than of our other options) so I dont expect that to change when he gets back but we shall see

Should be eligible opening day, though I dont actually know if he will be ready then. Doubt it. Either way this lineup looks a lot better with him in it.

Because the other options are Engel Anderson or Moncada, none of who should ever bat lead off. That's why Jay is a nice fit for this team but of course hes hurt.

I do think a last man off the bench/last pitcher out of the pen would have a ton of value and would have loved to see it. I think he can make it as both. We shall see. That said not losing any sleep of dropping him. If he can get to the NL he will be a lot more valuable probably.
