  1. This may be the worst thread in the history of Soxtalk. Saying something.
  2. https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2023/12/red-sox-exploring-trades-involving-outfielders.html?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=facebook
  3. I'm fine with this compared to their other recent signings.
  4. Hes like the best person in the world according to Padres fans. So another Clubhouse Guy™
  5. I guess here https://forum.orioleshangout.com/topic/50182-cease-vs-everyone-else/page/116/
  6. It's not really good for the clubhouse when said clubhouse guy is cut on June 1st.
  7. Meanwhile those Midwest states have 5 World Series titles the last 20 years against the Mets, Dodgers and Yankees 2. Or 2 to 1 in the last 10 (that 1 being a fake asterisk title on top of it). I have a hard time believing this is some grand analogy or even that it's going to break baseball.
  8. This was an awesome game. Northwestern beating the best team in the country and losing to the worst program in the country is great.
  9. It's probably that. Remember it was reported initially that Cousin signed a MLB deal with the Sox.
  10. He's our 5th/6th string catcher. I don't get the negative comments, but yeah should probably improve 1 to 4 on that note.
  11. All the Rosenthal update rhis morning said was Sox were probably waiting on Yamamoto
  12. Because relegation is stupid. Relegation leads to LESS parity, not more.
  13. "Every big market team". Last I checked Chicago was a big market and the White Sox play in Chicago so we must be interested. Right? Right?
  14. Ftr those family matters were having a premature baby being born at 1.5 lbs.
  15. I doubt we are paying full value here.
  16. Othani not signing with the Cubs is the biggest day for the White Sox in recent memory.
  17. It's amazing how many don't realize the Cubs and Sox compete for market share. They absolutely are rivals.
  18. Yeah for awhile there I couldn't open up soxtalk.com in public.
