  1. QUOTE (sin city sox fan @ Aug 3, 2016 -> 08:46 PM) Tilson. Why did we get rid of Duke if you ain't gonna use the new guy in a situation like this? I got some bad news for you...
  2. Prediction: media hysteria is out of control for the Olmypics (again) and the games end up a success with few hiccups.
  3. http://mlb.mlb.com/cws/ticketing/groups/gs...770-0-135528474 I unforunately can't attend the game Friday. But man I want one of these hats real bad. Would anyone attending be willing to work out a deal?
  4. I really don't understand the handling of Jackson Glines. I know he was a senior pick but he certainly seemed a little prospecty.
  5. That Eva debut was just awesome, haha. She's going to get nuclear heat. Man, if Ziggler loses tonight, he may as well just retire because his career is over.
  6. QUOTE (soxfan2014 @ Aug 2, 2016 -> 03:44 PM) Doesn't make a difference when you put them on. Once they're cleared, you can negotiate with anyone. And if you can always take guys back and put them back through if they're claimed anyway. Talking about guys who will get claimed. They can only go though twice as far as I know.
  7. Melky and Robertson dont have a chance to clear waivers. But they should make it to a contender you could maybe work something out with. Would be wise to monitor injuries and perhaps delay putting them through. Shields will 200% clear. Hes the only chip here.
  8. Since none of our guys are up after this year, I'm actually pretty happy Hahn wasn't allowed to or just didn't trade anyone.
  9. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Aug 1, 2016 -> 03:41 PM) Not really. It's Tilson Well we got rid of Duke too. So Purke presumably as well.
  10. Keith Law just stopped short of calling Bickford worthless.
  11. Well espn just said the Yankees are "all-in" on Chris Sale.
  12. QUOTE (bmags @ Aug 1, 2016 -> 01:11 PM) What is the keith law tweet? All I see is kenwo4life from sss going after him with the lamest regurgitated crap. He was just live on espn b****ing about Mike Sirotka, haha.
  13. Keith Law still bitter about Mike Sirotka
  14. QUOTE (lasttriptotulsa @ Aug 1, 2016 -> 12:18 PM) If that's their play that's a pretty big gamble considering he's due ~$20 million in salary over the next 2+ years. Not if you trade Shields for him.
  15. QUOTE (ChiliIrishHammock24 @ Aug 1, 2016 -> 12:05 PM) These should just be moved to the Shields trade, no? They just got Hill. Not saying they still couldn't get Shields but we could be moving other parts.
  16. QUOTE (shipps @ Aug 1, 2016 -> 11:57 AM) Reddick and Hill to Dodgers per Rosenthal So Puig probably gone...but not for Shields?
  17. QUOTE (FT35 @ Aug 1, 2016 -> 09:56 AM) I'm sure it was just a fabrication of my mind. I occasionally see random paragraphs of text on my computer screen for no reason at all. I read and comprehend the content that is pertaining to today's events even though they do not exist. Hey...gotta go, I am going to eat this banana that just popped out of my DVD drive. I'll make sure to post more delusional content later. Lol
  18. Someone would have retweeted or copy pasted that if Rosenthal said it or at least mentioned it on twitter elsewhere. Search turns up nothing. Don't know what you saw.
  19. QUOTE (iamshack @ Jul 31, 2016 -> 09:49 AM) Yeah, the thing with Duke is, he is one of the guys you don't have to move just to move...because you're going to need pen arms next year and he would be just as attractive at next year's deadline as this year's (if not more). Maybe they actually like this guy, because there was no reason to give Duke away. Eh, we know Duke is smoke and mirrors. He could easily have an ERA over 5 by this time next year. I think this was certainly the right time to trade him.
