So talking to a secret service guy, the problem was the floor where everyone was standing as well as the twitter threats. I guess first come first serve on the floor and it was all students protrsting who were able to show up early. Basically made for a mosh pit situation. So uneasy there. Right move was to cancel. It was out of control.

Needed to vet the crowd better. Nothing was safe about that.

Around 1k protestors here chanting "uncle tom and "shame on you" towards black trump supporters. Keeping it real classy. Probably a hundred people kicked out already. Trump hasn't even come on yet.

According to the KC Star, freshmen enrollment at Mizzou is down 1,500 students. Upperclassmen are transferring in droves. Teachers won't see any raises this year. They cant fill teacher openings and it sounds like they expect teachers to leave. Discussing shutting down programs thanks to this mess.
