  4. QUOTE(SleepyWhiteSox @ Oct 25, 2005 -> 08:21 PM) DePaul will be there next year. Illinois will be as well. Will be interesting to see if they meet.
  5. LOL, of course it's different. It's the NL guys!
  6. I believe they are able to bring the screen down, which may be why you only see those certain seat available.
  7. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Oct 24, 2005 -> 03:04 AM) Biggest Home Run in the history of the Chicago White Sox. What was that?
  8. Those graphics gave out a total "Meh" to me. I always liked the NHL2k Series though. I might be picking it up sooner or later.
  9. Somehow I bought an upper deck ticket and instead I got into the bottom bowl and eventually got even got into the premium seats, the tables out by the rightfeld bullpen. f***ing awesome. Best Sporting Event I have ever been to and I have been to a lot of great ones.
  10. QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Oct 21, 2005 -> 07:29 PM) One of the coolest pictures ever: Random Fact of the Day: Babe Ruth, en route to the greatest sports career ever, copied Shoeless Joe's swing.
  11. HILTON OWNS MIZZOU THE OWNAGE IS HUGE Sorry, little joke on the CBB board I post on.
  12. I can see if your about 65 and going to die anyway by the time you get out, but a 30 year old? How dumb...
  13. How about native Chicagoans going to Houston? Me.
  14. Who is this TBD team? Never heard of them, they any good?
  15. Felix, Why exactly did you want him out of Chicago at the time of the All-Star Break? He was 4-5 with a 4.26 ERA. No not great, but some very solid stats for your 4th/5th starter. Also, where the hell would this team be w/o him at that point on? And I mean that even if he were to keep putting up numbers similiar to his first half. Also, why would you want this team to trade Count during the offseason? I mean, you said it yourself, do you really want El Duque starting? You cite high value as a reason. We will be coming off as atleast AL champions, we are certainly in the mindset to win now. Any trade at all this offseason would be a downgrade to this team, unless some pipedream once in a life-time deal rolls around. You also infer KW would be willing to put put him out on the market. I highly doubt the master-mind of this team would be so stupid. I would also like to know why you don't think he could keep it up. He's always been a million dollar talent. Isn't it probable that he has finally found his comfort-zone here in Chicago? One would only assume his confidence would soar even higher if we were to win the World Series.
  16. QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Oct 20, 2005 -> 01:24 AM) A: How did you feel about Contreras before the All-Star Break? Decent 4th starter, still made me nervous whenever he picked up the ball. B: Do you think the Sox will view Contreras as a valuable part of the team after the season is over? Yep. C: Do you think Contreras will be trade bait after the season is over? No way, Jose. D: Do you want Contreras to be trade bait after the season? Nope E: Do you feel that Contreras could sustain this type of success, or do you think Cooper has caught the proverbial "Lightning in a bottle"? He's always had the talent. Why not? F: Did you think that Contreras was worth his contract when he was acquired? Not when he was aquired, but by the end of his contract, I think he will have been worth it. G: Do you think that Contreras is worth his contract now? See above.
  17. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Oct 19, 2005 -> 09:55 PM) wow, what were the guys doing 9 months ago???? What? You haven't hear about the White Sox boat party yet?
  18. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Oct 19, 2005 -> 09:51 PM) {sarcasm} Thank you very much.
  19. You guys need to understand that College Basketball is not about winning games or even championships. It's about getting the best recruits and most McDonald's All-Americans.
