  1. Yay, lead-off man on 2nd fails to score with 0 outs! Go us!
  2. QUOTE(Whitesoxfan56 @ Aug 21, 2005 -> 07:01 PM) no that .224 average would make him the 2nd worst hitter in the starting lineup for august, behind crede. do some research before you try and prove me wrong I think it was a joke...
  3. QUOTE(Whitesoxfan56 @ Aug 21, 2005 -> 06:56 PM) i will ask you the same question, with pk's back still hurting (thats why he is DHing), who would you have play 1st Switch Blum for Anderson. No real offense lost in this move. And obviously this Paulie DHing is temporary.
  4. QUOTE(Whitesoxfan56 @ Aug 21, 2005 -> 06:41 PM) with pods out, what should ozzie put out there? what do you think the lineup should be? Well, for starters, get anyone but Pablo Ozuna or Timo Perez out of the lead-off hole. Iguchi or Rowand would do quite fine. Get Uribe out of the heart of the order, he could be a serviceable 2 man. He's been doing decent as of late. Get Anderson some at-bats while we need another outfielder. I'd go: 1. Iguchi 2. Uribe 3. Rowand 4. Konerko 5. Everett 6. Dye 7. AJP/Widger 8. Anderson 9. Crede/Ozuna
  5. QUOTE(White Sox Josh @ Aug 21, 2005 -> 06:34 PM) Yankees 1 Derek Jeter, SS 2 Robinson Cano, 2B 3 Gary Sheffield, DH 4 Alex Rodriguez, 3B 5 Hideki Matsui, LF 6 Bernie Williams, CF 7 Tino Martinez, 1B 8 John Flaherty, C 9 Tony Womack, RF White Sox 1 Pablo Ozuna, 3B 2 Tadahito Iguchi, 2B 3 Aaron Rowand, CF 4 Paul Konerko, DH 5 Jermaine Dye, RF 6 Juan Uribe, SS 7 Chris Widger, C 8 Brian N. Anderson, LF 9 Geoff Blum, 1B Yay, Yet another terrible line-up! Atleast Timo is out of there, but this is still 1 step-backwords for ozzie. We have a total of 4 major League hitters in there today.
  6. Disagree. We played better with less crowds/noise.
  7. Why has this thread not been deleted yet?
  8. Bat Cliff Politte. He does have the highest average ever.
  9. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Aug 20, 2005 -> 07:30 PM) Alright, here's an opportunity to decrease our RISP average! You mean it can actually go down?
  10. Well, good news for the Royals, they'll only have that record for a couple of days. Oh great, Duque's bonus just kicked in.
  11. QUOTE(Frank the Tank 35 @ Aug 20, 2005 -> 07:17 PM) Why can't we play Anderson in the outfield and sit Perez? He seemed to swing a fat stick in the Minnesota game. He couldn't possibly do worse than Timo. Because than Ozzie Would make sense, duh.
  12. QUOTE(CubsSuck1 @ Aug 20, 2005 -> 12:23 PM) I saw an ad for it in the the Sun times, but I had no clue what to do. Looked for directions...none. Same, the Suntimes just says go to our new hit puzzle. Then they don't tell you what to do. Confusing indeed.
  13. Their lack of Mario Kart is disturbing. :headshake Their lack of of any Nintendo sports game, who is by far the best sports game creator to date, is disturbing. EDIT: Didn't see Punch Out in there. If that doesn't win, I don't know what should, well, other than kick ass Duck Hunt.
