  1. QUOTE(Hideaway Lights @ Jun 3, 2005 -> 05:06 PM) How many hitters do the Sox have hitting right now? 2? Whose overall batting average is better, the Sox or the Cubs? And don't the Sox have a designated hitter so SHOULDN'T their average be WAY higher? Clueless manager? Have you been watching how the Sox have been managed recently? Yes, they have no closer. We have several holes at setup. How many blown saves do the sox have in the last 3 games... six? They have better hitting than us. All this and it still does not change the fact that they have no speed, no fundamentals, a clueless manager, still have very little hitting whatsoever, still have no closer and still play horrible defense. One or two of those things isn't going to change all of that, whether you like it or not. Do the Sox lack some of this to? Yes, but certainly not to the extent of the Cubs.
  2. QUOTE(Hideaway Lights @ Jun 3, 2005 -> 05:02 PM) Again, you seem to think that the best record after 53 games indicates who the best team in baseball is in a given year. Let's talk about the 2001 Mariners, shall we? Theres just so much wrong with this that I'm not going to even bother touching it.
  3. QUOTE(Hideaway Lights @ Jun 3, 2005 -> 05:01 PM) I did not say the Cubs were better; I am simply raising the topic. As I stated, I think it's a good debate. I can hate a team and still recognize their talent, believe it or not. No its a beyond terrible and senseless debate. Don't kid yourself.
  4. Sorry, I'm still awestruck that you think a team with no closer, no hitting outside 1 man, no defense, no speed, a clueless manager, and still many unnamed problems could be 36-17 right now. Thats not only better than us, thats better than the Cardinals. Oh yeah, you can include the rest of the league in there as well. The ludacity of such a comment is incredible.
  5. QUOTE(Hideaway Lights @ Jun 2, 2005 -> 06:28 PM) If the Cubs were completely healthy, they would be a better team than the Sox. Discuss. ROFLMAO You have to be kidding me.
  6. FATHEW LECROY STILL SUCKS. HAHAAH YOU FAT PIECE OF f***.
  7. I have come to the conclusion that I would approve if Lew Ford died.
  8. QUOTE(chimpy2121 @ Jun 2, 2005 -> 08:14 PM) Nevermind, they just changed it to a fielders choice and the Indians scored a run. I wish they scored...
  9. Has Minnesota ever lost an extra inning game in the history of their franchise?

  12. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Jun 2, 2005 -> 06:41 PM) Now what happens if Kelly Wunch comes into the face the lefties instead of Kevin Walker or Neal cant throw a strike Cotts. Are you inferring that Wunch is still in our organization?
  13. QUOTE(Leonard Zelig @ Jun 2, 2005 -> 05:26 PM) Apparantly you've never watched any women's volleyball. Mens Volleyball>Womens Volleyball
  14. QUOTE(Cubs Suck23 @ Jun 2, 2005 -> 05:24 PM) I wouldnt move Zito to the pen. I would put Hernandez to have another lefty down there that we can trust... Whoops. Misread ya there. Still, Hernandez has been great this year starting. Until a future explosion, I don't see him going anywhere.
  15. QUOTE(Cubs Suck23 @ Jun 2, 2005 -> 05:22 PM) Maybe Zito needs a change of scenery.We can move hernandez to the bullpen Me thinks a former Cy Young who is still young(no pun) won't want to move to the pen.
  16. QUOTE(Cubs Suck23 @ Jun 2, 2005 -> 05:19 PM) I hope the trade gets done would love to see Chavez on the Sox.. Do you think it might even be a bigger trade than just Chavez coming. I read that Eric Byrnes&barry Zito will also get traded Maybe Crede,BMac and Anderson for Chavez&Zito Why would we want Zito? I wouldn't touch that thing with a 10 foot pole.
  17. QUOTE(Steff @ Jun 2, 2005 -> 05:13 PM) :rolly ...

  19. QUOTE(Cubs Suck23 @ Jun 2, 2005 -> 05:09 PM) Im from San Fran and havent heard any word about the trade on sports radio... Is the chicago stations mentioning any of it Mostly Pure Speculation my friend. We are just guessing at "THe Move" that KW always makes before the Deadline. Chavez would make perfect sense.
