  1. And the Cubs-Dodgers(Also LA vs. Chi and played at the same time as we did against the Angels) are only 2 games apart. It's like 1,002-1,000. Pretty crazy that both Chi-LA series are that close.
  2. QUOTE(qwerty @ Jun 2, 2005 -> 03:56 AM) I called it when the f***er came into the game practically. We should hear the announcement for gload any time now. It would be for El Duque first, I think.
  3. QUOTE(Jabroni @ Jun 2, 2005 -> 03:54 AM) Per Comcast. Thank you. And so is this thread, after it has been posted 3 times already.
  4. QUOTE(I-HATE-CREDE @ Jun 2, 2005 -> 03:52 AM) Even the neighborhood kids would rack up a lot of K's on those three. Can I count you in as a new member as the Anti-Crew(See my sig).
  5. QUOTE(Be Good @ Jun 2, 2005 -> 03:38 AM) Timo needs to be released, hes just useless right now. And Shingo, Viz and Walker need to be sent down. Walker already has been sent down, thankfully.
  6. QUOTE(ScottPodRulez22 @ Jun 2, 2005 -> 03:37 AM) so he gave you a scare in the 7th inning i mean hermanson gave up more runs then him and i dont see people pissed off at him! Oh god............
  7. QUOTE(sayitanitso @ Jun 2, 2005 -> 03:34 AM) But would you wants Cotts to come in with runners on? I thought I made that clear.....NO!
  8. QUOTE(3E8 @ Jun 2, 2005 -> 03:35 AM) Note to Walker: Win or try dying. Already dead.
  9. QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ Jun 2, 2005 -> 03:31 AM) Maybe the White Sox will bring up Bobby Jenks for Walker now. I thought they should've done that in the first place if they were going to bring up Walker. I don't like that guy one bit. If only his name was Tyler and not Kevin. Jenks is too good to be brought up now. If anyone, take Baj up. But noone will be brought up, due to the already overflowing roster space.
  10. QUOTE(nvxplorer @ Jun 2, 2005 -> 03:30 AM) Yes, it is not an enviable position to be in. The more I think about it, if the intent was indeed to test Walker, he was put into the perfect situation. Bringing in a rookie for mop up doesn't really accomplish much if you are trying to gauge his potential. It was do or die for Walker, and of course we know how that turned out. Though Shingo and Vizcaino are struggling (to put it mildly), their capabilities are already known. I'm with everyone who claims the move was boneheaded, from the standpoint of winning the game, but by looking at the big picture, I can understand what management may have been doing. It is still very early and the Sox still have a four game lead. If Ozzie makes these same calls in August, I'll be the first to call for his head, but I give him a (tentative) pass for tonight. Did you by chance make a call into the post game show?
  11. QUOTE(Jabroni @ Jun 2, 2005 -> 03:27 AM) Are you f***ing serious? He pulled a Mike Jackson tonight. Stop insulting Jackson....
  12. Jizzcaino has officially joined Marte and Cotts in the "I'm too big of a pussy to come in with runners on base club".
  13. QUOTE(Sox Hustler @ Jun 2, 2005 -> 03:12 AM) Can I say be happy were in first place now? No.
  14. QUOTE(aboz56 @ Jun 2, 2005 -> 03:07 AM) Time to hire someone else and get Timo outta here. Didn't they send someone over with him in the Miles trade to interpret? I'm sorry but thats just to hard. Its just too tough finding people who speak "Uribe" these days.
  15. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Jun 2, 2005 -> 02:58 AM) WHo should have gone? I hated Walker going too but. Marte, Cotts, Politte have all been worked. Hermanson can't go in the 7th. Viz sucks. Timo Perez. I mean, Timo Supremo can do just about anything, right?
  16. HE GAWN!!!!! That felt kind of good.
  17. He is a waste of a roster space. There is no reason he is even in the majors, let alone on a first place ball club and being payed about 850,000. Actually, I don't even know why I'm making a thread about this considering it is painfully obvious. Now, why is Gload still in the minors while this scrub is here? Someone explain.
  18. QUOTE(jerseysox @ Jun 1, 2005 -> 09:32 PM) no, we need nine ross gloads in the lineup. you know, i hate the way konerko always gets a pass when he struggles based on his history of always hitting a lot of homers and driving in a lot of runs. you picking up on my sarcasm? good, 'cause i'm layin' it on pretty thick. ...
  19. QUOTE(jerseysox @ Jun 1, 2005 -> 09:15 PM) anyone who'd rather have ross gload starting over paul konerko needs to chill. PK is 1 dimensional. Although I would defiantly start Kong over Ross, I can see where they are coming from.
