Devin Williams has the best change up in baseball now, but he doesn’t have to face more than a few batters every game. I think it’s scary that the two teams that faced Thorpe a second time absolutely shelled him.

Yeah I don’t see it. They’re farther away from being a .500 team than they have in a long time. There are very few, if any, players that you can clearly state will be a starting player for this team come 2028.

Outside of Quero and Baldwin, this has been just a god awful year for offensive development in the majors and minors.

I feel they’re going way too safe with their offensive acquisitions, which is what we saw them do last year and the results have been predictable. Need to find some guys with big upside, and also can’t be afraid of these players just cause they busted during the last rebuild.
