At least we have two great mop-up relievers in Shingo and Vizcaino now. Politte and Hermanson deserve to be pitching in close games.

A big f*** you goes out to Ozzie tonight. He put our worst relievers in situations where they could blow the lead/game....and they did. There was no excuse to keep Vizcaino in the game as long as he did...and there was no reason to let Shingo start the 9th.

I'll bet 100 dollars that Dye is not in the lineup tomorrow. I'm so sick of seeing him swing for the fences every AB, and it ends up just being a lazy fly or pop up.

The Twins main relievers this season have been incredible. They win the game tonight 6-4.

Wow, we caught a break there. Good job by Marte throwing strikes when he needed to though. I'd assume Colome is coming in. He's got some great stuff, but lacks control.

Marte's not even close. Ozzie keeps playing with fire by leaving struggling relievers in the game. Why isn't Politte warming up? This is insane. Perez is great against lhp.

I would like to see Ozzie lay off playing matchups, and just go with Marte, Hermanson, and Shingo to end games if we're up going into the 7th inning. That way, if one of them gets in trouble, we can have Politte, Cotts, or Vizcaino ready to get an out or two.

Ventura just said he never faced Marte. I specifically remember a game vs the Yanks a few years ago where Marte got squeezed against Ventura, and eventually Rondell White won the game for the Yankees against Rocky Biddle.

Twins lead after the umps f***ed the Orioles in the 8th inning.

Good pitch there by Vizcaino. That 2-2 pitch to Green really hurt us last inning. I guess it evens out though, as the ump missed the call on our first run.

Has a tied game ever felt like such an obstacle to overcome? It's an even bigger obstacle now that I know Vizcaino is still in.
