  1. What did Hawk say about the wind? Is it blowing in or out?
  2. Coco looks like an absolute idiot out there with his hair/hat the way he has it.
  3. If we're going to play Ozuna, he probably shouldn't be leading off. Against a lhp, no reason for Rowand to not be batting in the top 3.
  4. After Podsednik scored earlier in the game, I saw him talking to the trainer. Considering he stayed in the game a few more innings and got that hit, I would expect it's nothing serious.
  5. Hermanson would be the closer today, I'd almost guarantee it.
  6. There we go! Great swing by Podsednik there.
  7. Good at-bat by Crede. Huge opportunity here for Podsednik.
  8. QUOTE(Butter Parque @ Apr 11, 2005 -> 08:33 PM) It's gonna be a long year in this division if we can't touch Millwood. I guess this dispells all of your assumptions that Millwood sucks. I don't like him, but I don't think he's that bad. I wouldn't be too worried about it yet. This is the worst lineup we'll field all year. Also, the hitting conditions today aren't exactly ideal (even though it's saved Garcia about 3 runs).
  9. That was a terrible f***ing at-bat by Crede. This team is playing with no energy at all today. Corpseball is back!
  10. Count me in as someone not too impressed with our managerial decisions today. From the lineup to the in-game strategy...it's been pretty poor. By the way, Ozuna can't come close to touching a good fastball.
  11. Ouch.....let's hope that's not broken.
  12. Is Ozzie expecting too much out of a career minor leaguer in Ozuna? Playing LF one game, and then SS the next isn't exactly like going from 2b to SS every other game like Uribe did last year.
  13. Garcia just doesn't seem to have good stuff. His fastball lacks zip, and he doesn't seem to be fooling a lot of hitters.
  14. Honestly, where does this 7-8-9 in the Sox lineup rank with the worst ever in Sox history? Widger's a terrible player.....I'll never understand why he made the team.
  15. Widger should have had Blake at 2nd, but his throw was up the line. Then, Widger just showed terrible form at trying to keep the pitch in front of him. Good K by Garcia though.
  16. QUOTE(daa84 @ Apr 11, 2005 -> 07:29 PM) at least rowand put some good wood on it, last few times out its been tapper to short everytime it seems like I have serious concern about this team's ability to hit a good fastball. Seems like we have a lot of guys that can be jammed easily.
  17. Man, Millwood looks to be having an easy time with this Sox lineup.
  18. Hey guys, you might want to swing. This ump sucks, yes. However, you have to adjust.
  19. I think teams are going to be able to jam the living hell out of Bartlett. He doesn't seem very strong with the bat, especially on inside pitches. Guzman was very overrated by guys like Hawk, but he still always seemed to get a clutch hit for the Twins leading off late in the game.
  20. Personally, I'm very happy with Cuddyer at 3b in regards to the Sox. He's messed up a couple of plays this series that Koskie would have easily made in the past. The Twins infield used to kill the Sox because of the great range of their players. It's not nearly the same anymore.
  21. Iguchi looks great tonight though. I still wish that we moved Rowand up to the 3rd spot in the order against lefties.
  22. Santana has an enormous plate to pitch to right now. You're not going to score 5 runs in a game against him with an aluminum bat if he gets this type of ump.
  23. Santana's a stud...plain and simple. It's not as easy as some thing about just sitting on a pitch. Santana's fastball comes out of his hand the same way his change-up. Thus, by the time you have to decide, it's too late. You have to play a perfect game to beat Santana, and we definitely aren't.
