By no means have we clinched the division, and we're facing a lot of good offensive teams in the 2nd half of the year. We need to be able to consistently score more than one run in an inning.

This looks like one of those old Joe Mays games where he had nothing, but our bat speed looks awful and we can't hit the meatballs.

The thing that is upsetting is that this is what happens when you have a lineup of a lot of below average MLB hitters. I'm not sure how to do it, but we have to toughen up this lineup. Just way too many easy outs. And no, this isn't in response to tonight's game. I've been saying we have too many easy outs for a while now.
