The Konerko for Hairston and Julio trade is something that I've seen proposed by some of the board members lately. It hasn't been mentioned in the press anywhere, but it does seem like the type of deal that KW would do.

If we got Hairston, it would be to play 2b. Unless Frank is out for the year, Everett's going to be stuck in RF (UGH!). Therefore, Rowand will not be moving to CF or RF. For the so-called proposed trades of Julio and Hairston for Lee or Konerko, all I can say is please no. Julio is no different than Billy Koch in terms of how he goes about things when pitching, except he's an asshole.

The only A that should be associated with Willie Harris it the level he would be a star at in the minor leagues. Willie's inability to be the type of player that the Sox needed this year is one of the biggest reasons that the Sox tanked when they did.

I'm not so sure about that. Grilli's control is barely bearable when he's a starter. However, out of the pen, you cant be walking guys all the time. How about we just have a bullpen without Jackson or Grilli!!!!

If Ozzie is serious when he says that he's competing for a job next year, he's even dumber that I imagined.

This isn't me b****ing, but I hope to god there's no chance that Grilli is in the rotation next year. The guy has no command on his pitches at all. The last thing the Sox need is another Contreras on their staff where they walk 2 batters and give up the 3 run homer.

Well, the immature asshole, Carlos Zambrano, just drilled Chipper Jones in the hand/finger. It doesn't look too good for Chipper. Cubs are up 6-2 after the Braves pulled their starting pitcher. It would be great for my blood pressure if the Giants or Astros can win tonight.

I really, really hope we're not jinxing ourselves here. The Cubs are not officially eliminated yet, and it's not unheard of for two teams (Giants and Astros) to lose 2 straight games. If the Cubs were to win their next 2 games, they still have an outside chance. I'll breathe much easier knowing that they're officially out of it.

I didn't think that Ben Davis is considered a good defensive catcher. There's a severe lack of available options behind the plate.

I'll feel alot better when I know that they're eliminated from making the playoffs. I have a bad feeling that they still have a very good chance at making at least a play-in game.

What I meant by saying he doesnt swing is that he had the most half-assed swings I've seen by a non-pitcher in some time. He acts completely disinterested when he's playing, and then b****es when he's not.

Wish I could say he was safe, but he was barely out. Walker got off a very weak throw on that ball to make it closer than it should have been.
