QUOTE(whitesox91403 @ Apr 27, 2005 -> 05:25 AM) Hermanson was availiable last night. he's ready to go. That pisses me off even more than about how Ozzie used/didn't use the pen tonight. -

QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Apr 27, 2005 -> 05:24 AM) I don't think anyone is disputing that. But, to blame the game on Harris because he booted it is really stupid. We all saw a s***ty effort out of just about everyone not named Aaron Rowand tonight... A few other guys, too, that was just off the top of my head. Aaron played well, and Marte pitched well. Can I b**** about Rowand taking a meatball for a called strike 3 with the game tied and a runner on 3rd in the 8th -

QUOTE(JimH @ Apr 27, 2005 -> 05:21 AM) Biggest concern is the health of our guys. This loss is not that big of a deal guys, everything went wrong that could've gone wrong. Exactly. As much as myself and others b**** during the game, at the end of the night, it's just one out of 162 games. A much bigger concern in the health of our guys, especially Uribe. The difference between him and whoever backs him up is enormous. Also, I'm concerned about Hermanson. He's been banged up for 5 days, and still can't pitch. -

Willie didn't blow that game tonight. As much as I dislike Willie as a player, his error was hardly the biggest play of the game. The bases would have still been loaded with one out in a tie game. A lot more blame should be placed on Dye, Buehrle, and Ozzie. Not to mention Ozuna and Konerko hitting/flying into double plays with a man on 3rd and one out. -

I say we dump both Ozuna and Harris then, and get a backup SS and some righty power off the bench. -

QUOTE(Jabroni @ Apr 27, 2005 -> 05:14 AM) Anyone wanna bet some money that Willie is the first guy sent down once Frank is healthy? I'll guarantee you that by the time Frank is back, Willie won't be the one sent down. -

The biggest loss tonight isn't the game, but Uribe's potential groin injury. If he's out for any length of time, we're really going to have a dropoff at that position. -

QUOTE(3E8 @ Apr 27, 2005 -> 05:09 AM) Ozzie didn't make a mistake by sending Buehrle back out there. He's supposed to be our ace. He didn't act like it tonight. Yes, but going into the 7th inning against two righty batters, don't you think maybe it's time to call it a night for the pitcher, and let your supposed great bullpen get the last 9 outs of the game for you? -

If we lose this game, I'd rather we lose the way it looks we might instead of having Shingo blow a save. A game like the Indians late inning homer onslaught got to me more than this game will. We have a early game tomorrow, so hopefully our players want to get this game out of our system. -

QUOTE(bigred3535 @ Apr 27, 2005 -> 05:06 AM) Dye made a great play last night to save extra-bases in his defense. But Willie has no redeemable plays to defend him this year. Let's face it, he should have been cut in Spring Training and the Sox should have kept Valdez, except Ozzie got attached to Willie and so did KW, which sucks. Maybe the Cubs will take him off our hands, since they need infield help badly right now. Oh well, at least the inning's over. C'mon Sox, put some more runs on the board. Fantastic point made about having Valdez instead of Harris. I don't have a lot of confidence in Ozuna being able to play SS if Uribe goes on the DL. -

QUOTE(3E8 @ Apr 27, 2005 -> 05:04 AM) THIS GAME NEEDS MUCH MORE TIMO. Thanks buddy for making me laugh. I'm sure we'll see Timo tonight somehow, someway. -

QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Apr 27, 2005 -> 05:02 AM) You know what you guys are absolutely right, lets get a new f***in taem. These guys f***in suck lets get rid of all these ass holes. They're 16 and 5 can you believe this f***in s***. What a bunch of f***in losers. :headshake So we're not allowed to rip on guys that drop routine flyballs or guys that let weak little grounders go right under their glove? -

QUOTE(bigred3535 @ Apr 27, 2005 -> 05:01 AM) I absolutely and unequivocally hate Willie Harris right now. This inning should be over. Everyone's played badly tonight, but Willie Harris shall take the brunt of my aggression. Willie didn't have a play on that grounder. The bases would have still been loaded, so I'm not going to blame Willie for losing this game. I hope Ozzie and Dye go out and get drunk tonight, and are too hungover to play tomorrow. -

Willie Harris is an absolute mental dumbass. He tries to act like hot s***, but when he's between the lines, he has his head up his ass. -

I'd rather see Chris Widger as a reliever than Harris playing SS. The funny thing is that I guarantee you that he would have thrown that ball away trying to get Durazo at 1b. -

Unreal. We better call up a SS immediately if Ozuna and Uribe can't go tomorrow. I almost feel bad for Willie, he shouldn't be playing SS in the majors. -

QUOTE(whitesoxeducator @ Apr 27, 2005 -> 04:52 AM) what a cunundrum we got here: sox lose- all ozzies fault sox win- still ozzies fault since we barely won I like to think of it as winning despite Ozzie. I don't think any of us would be complaining on here if he let Vizcaino or Marte start the 7th inning. -

This is honestly funny when you think about it. After all the breaks we've made and created this season, to have nearly everything go wrong that possibly can is very ironic. -

QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Apr 27, 2005 -> 04:42 AM) Froemming or whatever has been absolute s*** behind home plate tonight. f***ing terrible job. What did he mess up that inning? That pitch to Rowand was a strike, and a great pitch to hit. Rowand out-guessed himself. -

Nice swing by Dye there. It would be great if he started going the opposite way down in the count like he always seemed to do against us in the past. -

QUOTE(Jabroni @ Apr 27, 2005 -> 04:37 AM) You would be b****ing if the Sox were 20-0 right now. :headshake Don't you have Ozuna to promote some more? I don't want to make this a pissing contest, but you've sure been quiet tonight compared to last night when Ozuna was doing good.
