  1. Damn nuggets scored 107 to end the streak and Boston scored 101 to end our new 1 game streak.
  2. Detroit, why not let a division rival blow their money with a long term contract on an injured player.
  3. Flags are stupid, anyone who has them is obviously just looking for attention.
  4. Rancid, Rancid, Transplants, Rancid, Operation Ivy, Tiger Army and Rancid.
  5. QUOTE(chimpy2121 @ Jan 28, 2005 -> 10:45 PM) If the cubs dont get Maggs, what's their outfield going to be....C Pat (Sosa Jr.), Hollandsworth? and.....? Dubois/Burnitz.
  6. A couple days ago they were talking about the best base stealers in baseball on ESPN. They talked about Juan Pierre, Carlos Beltran, Carl Crawford, Bobby Abreu and Ichiro, not even a mention of Scott Podsednik even though he led the majors with 70 last season. s*** like that just pisses me off so it's good to see a Sox player get a little credit every once in a while. Good for Mark.

QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Jan 28, 2005 -> 01:19 PM) South park is still solid, but my favorite comedy show is aqua teen hunger force. Pure gold Quite possibly the stupidist premise for a television show ever. But it is still f***ing hillarious.
  8. Good Jeckle's girl is posting now, she can keep him in line and cool him down the next time someone rips Arow or Garland.
  9. QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Jan 28, 2005 -> 10:23 PM) well if cubs make out with Julio and Hairston JR and unload Sosa id say they didnt do 2 bad of a job. I just like to know how much of Sosa's contract they would have to eat. According to rotoworld, it would be a substantial portion maybe 10$ out of $17, just a guess.

  11. QUOTE(El Caballo @ Jan 28, 2005 -> 10:05 PM) I was reading an article from espn.com about how Brian Anderson from KC has probably the best pick off move and on there the Padres coach Rob Picciolo mentions how Anderson and a few others like Buehrle have such good pitch outs you don't notice them trying to pick u off. It isn't a big deal but its good to see some players on the sox getting some positive recognition. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=1977698 I think it's pretty universally known that Buehrle has a sick pick-off move.
  12. QUOTE(Jeckle2000 @ Jan 28, 2005 -> 08:35 PM) According to WGN Radio right now the deal is pretty much done. Prospects and Jerry Heirston (Sp?) for Sammy Sosa If this deal is for real and done then Baltimore is the worst franchise in baseball. I heard it on the Score, Hairston and Prospects doesn't seem like much to me.
  13. Dude, that's cool I think the Bears should do something similar.
  14. QUOTE(winodj @ Jan 28, 2005 -> 10:41 AM) The BSA will pay in twenty years when the Trail's End Cancer scare hits from all those preservatives :-) I don't doubt it one bit.
  15. QUOTE(robinventura23 @ Jan 28, 2005 -> 10:26 AM) I'll be at the Saturday game, which I believe is the last Spring Training game of the year. I have great seats, pretty much right behind the plate. If I get there with enough time, I'll definitely enjoy a tailgate. I'm right behind homeplate too, sec. 117 row 22. Badass.
  16. QUOTE(Texsox @ Jan 28, 2005 -> 09:04 AM) For what it's worth, the best microwave butter popcorn I have ever had is Trails End extreme butter. Every last kernal pops and the butter actually comes close to tasting like butter. Available from a Boy Scout near you. For what like $20, damn Boy Scouts trying to steal my hard earned money.
  17. QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Jan 28, 2005 -> 09:29 AM) The only time I was there, I was running late, so I didn't see it. Looking forward to seeing Carlos again. Thx man. I'll be there on April 2nd, the Saturday game. It's gonna be cool to see the reaction to Carlos and SPod comming up to the plate.
  18. QUOTE(The Critic @ Jan 28, 2005 -> 09:29 AM) Rancid, by the way....... Just sayin'.... f*** ya, can't beat the sweet sounds of Tim Armstrong.

    South Park

QUOTE(ZoomSlowik @ Jan 28, 2005 -> 12:17 AM) I'm a huge fan of South Park, although I think it has slipped A LITTLE. In my opinion some of the episodes in the last two seasons have been hit or miss. There are still plenty of classic moments, but I actually enjoy watching the re-runs more than the new ones most of the time. The two episodes you mentioned were solid. I'm a big fan of the episode where Cartman starts the Christian rock band. The songs are absolutely hilarious! For the more classic episodes my favorite is the one where Chef tries to change the South Park flag. So many good lines! Some of the more recent episodes like "Raisins" and "You Got f***ed in the Ass" which was a play on hooters and "you got served" have really sucked. I don't know what it is but some episodes just don't have that same funniness. "Chef Goes Nanners" when he trys to change the South Park flag is in my top 5 episodes ever. I also love "Something You Do With Your Finger" is f***ing awesome, it's when they start a boy band play at the mall. How do you name a band Fingerbang.
