If they're going to lose -- and I hope they do -- at least Cutler makes the games interesting. Hoyer-ball is f***ing excruciating.
-
When you have a mediocre defense and run the underneath game to perfection against the colts this is what you get.

QUOTE (SoxAce @ Oct 9, 2016 -> 01:16 PM) Still 0 turnovers from Hoyer since he took over. Not a fan of his arm obviously, but that's a nice welcome. It's fools gold, hasn't attempted a single deep pass, work short to mid you can complete a lot of passes, just won't lead to many points.

Well unfortunately, he will not be coming home. During exploratory surgery they discovered cancer in his liver and spleen, he lived 9 incredible years and the fact that this hurts so bad speaks volumes. Thank you all so much for your well wishes, it legitimately lifted my spirits during this whole process. Duke was the perfect dog and he will not soon be forgotten.

My 9 year old Golden is undergoing life saving surgery tomorrow for tumors that have ruptured on his spleen. This is all incredibly sudden and devastating. I know he's but a dog but he means the world to me, please send good vibes.
-
Just please keep in mind they scored 7 points in the first half despite the lions doing jack s*** on either side.
-
Jimmy Johnson putting nails in Cutler's coffin with the Bears sitting at 7 points in the first half. Seems about right.

QUOTE (Brian @ Sep 25, 2016 -> 12:36 AM) One of the best sitcoms out there. QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Sep 29, 2016 -> 11:29 AM) Eating the burrito that was in the hot tub...made me cramp I was laughing so hard. I feel like the show hasn't even peaked yet, the cast and writing are so strong. Also the guest stars, Ken Marino!

QUOTE (soxfan2014 @ Sep 27, 2016 -> 07:28 AM) What did he say? His tone was just totally different from everything else that took place pre-game. You got the play by play guy who's all somber and on the verge of crying it seems and all the players huddled around the mound crying then you have Al Leiter almost gleefully setting the narrative. Just a total 180 from literally everyone else.

QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Sep 26, 2016 -> 11:02 PM) Watching everything before the game, the Dee Gordon moment, and after the game made me tear up. My fiancee walked by and asked me if I was crying, can't a man cry a little bit anymore? Just watched some pregame, Al Leiter is cynical as f***.

Baseball cards inside Chicago Tribune today

Memories, remember when White Sox baseball was fun...... http://www.soxtalk.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=35436 -
He was the epitome of everything that's awesome about baseball, he truly enjoyed every second he spent on the diamond and made the game so f***ing fun to watch both with his electric stuff and personality. Just heartbreaking, he'll sorely be missed by all. This is a devastating day for the game.

This is devastating, one of the most talented and fun players in the game. Such a shame.

Brooklyn 99 is perfect.

Terry Boers was on with Abbatacola today and sounded pretty rough. I missed part of the conversation so I'm not sure if they actually said what's wrong with him? He mentioned "treatments" and "pain management" a few times but that's all I got.

QUOTE (Brian @ Sep 14, 2016 -> 09:12 AM) Can't believe I left this one out. It's on the long side but hilarious. The live episodes are the best because Mantzoukas is the funniest man alive especially when he has a crowd in front of him.

QUOTE (Middle Buffalo @ Sep 13, 2016 -> 09:41 PM) I tend to cherry pick comedy podcasts based on the guest. I've probably listened to all of them a few times. Same here, mostly with the LA comedy scene, though I find the episodes with guests I'm not familiar with tend to be great none the less, but it's hard to commit. Sometimes you don't immediately recognize a name but once you start listening you realize right quick that it's some one you do know and they're hilarious. i.e.: Thomas Middleditch. He never struck me as a particularly interesting comedian based on his roles, but he's incredile at improv.

Rewatched Stranger Things and I get that 'Should I Stay or Should I Go' was the major hit off the album but a Mick Jones led Clash song that I kinda hate (dope beat but Mick Jones can't sing and it's hockie), being featured prominently irks me. 'Straight to Hell' didn't quite resonate at the time but it made Combat Rock and would have fit the narritive perfectly. 'Go straight to hell, boys, go straight to hell, boys' coming from a distressed child stuck in some hell world works and maybe then people would know the driving force behind 'Paper Planes'. Go out on a limb, Stranger Things!

QUOTE (JenksIsMyHero @ Sep 12, 2016 -> 11:38 AM) Narcos season 2, through 5 episodes, is some good TV. The whole season is great, just as good, if not better than season 1. Also just got picked up for 2 more seasons.

Wait, didn't Simeon kinda suck tonight? Holy f***, calm down NBC.
-
This would basically be worst case scenario, potentially career threatening.

Aaand Freeman hurts himself celebrating a nice play. Looked like he got an assist from a teammate.

QUOTE (ron883 @ Aug 24, 2016 -> 10:36 PM) PC mod alert Dissect the crux of the joke and get back to me with the humerous part. I'm more offended as a fan of comedy than anything else, it's cheap, tasteless and juvenile. Oh, and to hold me as some sort of totalitarian authority figure is beyond hilarious.
