1 or 2 more of these, and we'll have the 2nd Sox pitcher in 3 years starting the All Star game for the AL.
Might have the 2nd guy to come into the game also. He pitches tomorrow.

Anyone heard the new White Stripes cd yet?
The new White Stripes is pretty bad. The girl sings way to damn much.
I just got the new System of a Down. I never really liked them in the past but this album is pretty damn good in my opinion. Some really weird s***.
That piece of s*** show will never go away. It will keep on sucking right into 2020. A Simpsons Movie may have been a good idea in like '96 back when the show was still funny but now it would be just stupid to make a movie out of a show that's not even funny.
QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jun 9, 2005 -> 02:54 PM)
By KW saying he's not trading Everett and the fact that he's getting on a hot streak, we will probably swing a trade for Mota, a lesser prospect, and Cabrera, I'm guessing.
Sarcasm, no?
QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Jun 9, 2005 -> 02:50 PM)
I didn't see *most* of the game last night, did Thomas really go yard?
A bomb to straight away center field.
QUOTE(Jabroni @ Jun 9, 2005 -> 02:49 PM)
And you believe him? Saying he won't trade [insert Chavez here] is one way to get teams to offer more for him. Frank has 2 pinch-hit homers already and needs to be our DH everyday. That would leave little playing time for Everett. Although, it's nice to have Everett as insurance in case we have an injury.
The Billy Beane Effect.

I'm gonna add the ones in bold. Ensberg I feel is not an option, A-Rod is not an option, Mike Lowell sucks and I'm gonna stick with 3rd baseman so I'm going to say no to Texeira because its been a few years since he's played 3rd.

QUOTE(RockRaines @ Jun 9, 2005 -> 02:19 PM)
So is everyone willing to trade our fielding ability for an upgrade offensively?
I for one am not. I think our fielding is the only thing that has kept us from losing more games. Now that our offense is picking it up, I see no need to degrade our strong point. It makes like easier on our pitchers and gives them confidence to be able to throw ground ball pitches. I dont see adding a bat at the expense of denfense an upgrade to our team. Am I the only one who feels this way?
You're not the only one. Pitching, defense and timely hitting have been our strong points this year and have been the reason why we've won so many games.
Shea Hillenbrand is not a butcher at third base he's just not great. He would be a down grade defensively but not enough to ignore his bat.
QUOTE(Jabroni @ Jun 9, 2005 -> 02:17 PM)
I would take Hillenbrand in a second. I thought he was a butcher at 3rd base but he made some nice plays against us in our series at Toronto. He could even move to 1st base after the season is over and we could let Konerko go.
He would be a great option at third base. He is a great hitter with some power. The only problem is he would be a down grade defensively when compared to Crede. He plays a good 1st base so he could most definetly fill in for Konerko on occasions this season and step in as a replacement next season.
I think one major thing about Crede is his personality. He is a great guy, I personally have had the honor of meeting him and have talked to him on numerous occations, he is one of the nicest and most approachable athletes I have ever come accross. KW is taking into account the loss of a guy like that in the clubhouse for sure.
