  1. QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ May 28, 2005 -> 11:52 AM) Random piece of information per ESPN Radio 1000, Aardsma is the alphabetically first player in the history of baseball. Two A's to start your name will do that for ya.
  2. You can't just say a change in scenery will suddenly turn around a guy like Latroy Hawkins, his head is majorly f***ed up. He'll suck in San Fran. Book it.
  3. How is it possible that the Cubs continue to fleece teams like this. Jerome Williams has the potential to be a stud in the big leagues for years to come. Latroy Hawkins is a piece of s***.
  4. How is it possible that the Cubs continue to fleece dumb f***ing teams. I would love for the Sox to do that just once.
  5. Jerome Williams and David Aardsma for Latroy Hawkins and cash considerations. Source 670 the Score.
  6. QUOTE(chi-guy2 @ May 27, 2005 -> 10:29 PM) we need a guy who gets walks, reaches base, aka frank thomas, and thats it, if dye isnt hitting lately or everett then we trade them for preston wilson who is well rounded and can play all outfield and fits into our small ball system, and its just as easy to hit in the cell just as it is with coors

    QUOTE(The Critic @ May 27, 2005 -> 10:41 PM) Greg Fitzsimmons is a SERIOUSLY under-rated comic. I laugh like a f***in' idiot when I see him perform. He has a perfect blend of anger and clever wit. One of the funniest things I've ever seen from a stand up comedian is when Fitzsimmons reads the letter he recieved from the High School in Oklahoma. f***ing hillarious.

    Back To Norm

    It looks pretty good, of course I've thought all his shows were good (Norm, A Minute With Stan Hooper). This one will probably be cancelled just as quick as all his other ventures.
  9. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ May 27, 2005 -> 06:48 PM) I'm sorry, but I just don't see how calling someone "Belle-esque" is a compliment. Appearently you've never seen his career numbers.
  10. QUOTE(qwerty @ May 27, 2005 -> 06:28 PM) I have always had a thing for roseanne. Who doesn't. People deny it but they know she's a sexy beast.
  11. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ May 27, 2005 -> 06:28 PM) Looking at Mac's numbers this year, he would look to be a great pickup, and like Fathom said, certainly not out of the question. I would also like to throw Adam Dunn's name out there again. While he is an OF, he is a LH bat who hits for a TON of power, and while has alot of K's, also a good number of walks. With that, the entire Reds team is up for sale, so he can defenitly be had. For a huge price. I don't care how badly the Reds suck, it will take a nice package to land Dunn.
  12. QUOTE(whitesoxin' @ May 27, 2005 -> 06:20 PM) Wayyy to much cushion for the pushin. Not possible.
  13. QUOTE(qwerty @ May 27, 2005 -> 06:16 PM) More cushion for the pushin no? You stole my post.
  14. I don't know why but I desperately want to see Greg Norton back in a White Sox uniform, just for one atbat.
  15. I believe this is what you're looking for.

    QUOTE(soxhawks @ May 27, 2005 -> 06:02 PM) i saw his comedy central special and i was very disappointed, he looked good on the commercials Too much Bush bashing to my liking.
  17. Johan will have problems with Toronto just as he did last time. The Blue Jays offense is alive and kicken. This could be a horrible outing for Santana. But at the same time he always finds a way to bounce back so he could dominate.
  18. QUOTE(Jabroni @ May 27, 2005 -> 05:59 PM) People bashed me when I suggested trading for Mackowiak in the offseason saying he was no better than Cruddy. DOH! This is the guy many people didn't want over Cruddy... Rob Mackowiak Mackowiak makes Cruddy look like the second coming of Chris Snopek. Mackowiak is extremely valueable seeing how he can play atleast 4 postitions well. The only problem would be prying him away from the pirates. The fans have fallen in love with him there.
  19. QUOTE(Be Good @ May 27, 2005 -> 05:50 PM) Yeah but not with the top 3 or so teams. It's not like we struggled recentley that we should of dropped. But power rankings are opinion, so I shouldn't argue with that. Well seeing how we're 9-8 in our last 17 I'd say we have struggled lately, record wise atleast.
  20. QUOTE(WilliamTell @ May 27, 2005 -> 05:50 PM) At least Jabroni doesn't post a bunch of 1 or 2 words in every post. I see that on a lot of other message boards and that's all they post. I have a lot of short posts too, but I guess I pick and choose what I want to reply to. I see that a lot on here. Just meaningless little posts from people that reiterate exactly what everyone else is saying. This does not apply to Jabroni or Qwerty.
  21. QUOTE(qwerty @ May 27, 2005 -> 05:35 PM) 116 for the day and the game has not even started. The guy averages like 150 posts a day, what do you expect.
  22. QUOTE(whitesoxin' @ May 27, 2005 -> 05:27 PM) That's what I'm doing, can't wait. The game better be f***ing sold out. 2 first place teams, holiday, afternoon game. I'll be shocked if the game isn't sold out. After a 10 game roadtrip, people better be wanting to get out to the park. I'll be there tuesday, I can't hardly f***ing wait. I'd be there on Monday but I have a graduation party on Memorial Day so I can't be there.
  23. QUOTE(thomsonmi @ May 27, 2005 -> 05:23 PM) 8 pages? Looks like 16 to me. 16 pages, 224 posts, 44 for Jabroni alone.
  24. QUOTE(whitesoxin' @ May 27, 2005 -> 05:22 PM) Instead of greeting them at the airport, just go to the games more. It's much better for the team IMO. We could all greet them at the Cell on Monday against the Angels.
