This is just another example proving that you should never allow a woman to tie you up.

Sad, just sad.

I see they're going with the infamous name of J. Dowd once again this season.

There is no Cold Stone anywhere near the AMC on Barrington next to 90. There is a Cold Stone in Woodfield mall though. It's pretty damn good.

QUOTE(ZoomSlowik @ Feb 21, 2005 -> 03:59 PM) Well, I took what you guys said and pushed it to Sunday night, March 6th at 10:30 PM CST. There weren't a whole lot of draft times open, which is why I had to go so late. I like it. I work til' 8 on Sunday so that's a pretty good time for me.

QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Feb 21, 2005 -> 04:07 PM) Parker/Stone realized their path was mirroing the Simpsons slap stick, formulaic routine. New characters were created naturally through the characters moving onto the next grade, which honestly broughta fresh appeal to the show. In addition to new characters, South Park's transition from episodes involving character development to current events was smooth. If you notice the first several seasons, many (if not all) episodes involved problems relating to Stan, Kyle, Cartman, Kenny. Newer episodes obviously follow this trend, but usually there's some sort of reference to an issue in the news. Not only is the news item discussed, but usually its presented in a fashion which pushes the limits. Network TV's version of pushing the envelope is legalizing gay marriage. OMFG! Perfectly worded. The first 3 1/2 seasons were only about situations that trey and matt came up with that the kids were involved in. However when you get to the middle of the 4th season you start getting plots like "Chef Goes Nanners" where Chef complains about the South Park flag being racist but the towns people say it is a part of history. This plot is obviously a take off of the contreversy at the time involving use of the Confederate flag in southern states. Some claimed the Confederate flag was racist because it depicted a time in history where people in the south had slaves and some claimed that the confederate flag was a part of Southern history that they used tht flag for a long time and it was somewhat representative of the south in general. South Parks ability to fuse this nationally publicised story into their small town is something that the Simpsons failed to do. It shows that Trey and Matt are great but Groening and his crew have a trouble changing with the times.

QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Feb 21, 2005 -> 04:08 PM) You're sporting an Amare dunk in your sig. And even if he went to the side, you can see from a side photo his leg clearly went over Kenyons head. I'm sporting a great pass by Nash, they give Amare all the credit for the dunks yet Nash was the one heading the ball to him and flipping it up with his feet. -

QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Feb 21, 2005 -> 03:57 PM) The Nique dunk was not overrated. He was paying tribute to the man who tutuored him through the contset. Did you see where he took off from on that one? Did you see how far he went down and around on the windmill? How about where he jumped over Kenyon? He jumped to the side of Kenyon, they were good dunks but I just wasn't as impressed as say Magic Johnson who went on for like 10 minutes about how the Slam Dunk Contest is back. I don't think it's back. It still sucks and every year you're gonna have Josh Smith and three scrubs along with him. Amare should never of been in the dunk contest same as Chris Anderson, they're to damn tall. -
QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Feb 21, 2005 -> 03:47 PM) Im sure it's a combination of 3 things. 1. Yes, im sure the game just does look good. 2. The Screens are from X-box, not PS2 3. Im sure the shots were off a HDTV to make them look even better. You can tell it's a Widescreen shot so it probably is HD.

QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Feb 21, 2005 -> 03:47 PM) Dee will catch on in the NBA when his time comes, book it. Look at Boykins, Dee's just as skilled as him, and hes taller. He's taller by like 7 inches. -

The Bulls don't have a 1st round pick this year. They traded it to Phoenix for the rights to Luol Deng. -

QUOTE(SoxFanForever @ Feb 21, 2005 -> 03:41 PM) It also has the Bulls drafting another High School guy which I really doubt Pax will be doing any time soon. That kinda loses credibility with me after seeing that. That pick goes to Phoenix anyway. -

Let's assume the Net's keep Kidd like it looks they're going to do. Why would they take a PG with the #10 pick they have other holes they need to fill. -

I wouldn't take him in the first round. He's an early 2nd rounder at the highest IMHO.
