  1. Bruce Levin on BBTN 2 minor league players for OG............I wanted Logan.
  2. He is not officially gone yet..........let's hold up until then.
  3. QUOTE (IowanSoxFan @ Sep 26, 2011 -> 09:20 PM) I'm more happy about Oney finally being gone! :headbang :snr Thanks for the memories Ozzie, you were one of a kind.
  4. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Sep 26, 2011 -> 09:14 PM) And I can live with Cooper leaving, too. Oh man, I'm so tired. I want to sleep, but I want to keep watching this. Most excitement all year IMO!
  5. QUOTE (bucket-of-suck @ Sep 26, 2011 -> 09:11 PM) NO, NO and NO Joey Cora worthless ass needs to go to Miami!
  6. If tonight is really OG last game then the divorce is a long time coming! Thank God Walker will be gone.
  7. QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 26, 2011 -> 06:07 PM) Yes, I believe as long as we don't win out and Cleveland wins a game, we lock up top 15 pick. Get the 12 pick!
  8. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Sep 23, 2011 -> 11:07 AM) You keep saying this without any sound reasoning behind it. Next year's Cardinals rotation: Adam Wainwright: $9 million Chris Carpenter: $11 million Kyle Lohse: $12 millon Jake Westbrook: $8.5 million Jaime Garcia: arbitration eligible They've got two of the top pitching prospects in the game in Shelby Miller and Carlos Martinez (with the former being nearly big-league-ready). Lance Berkam was just re-upped for 1 year, $12 million. They've got a club option on Yadier Molina (he's going to get a nice raise). Then, of course, they have a 1B to worry about that's going to command upwards of $30 million a year. Suffice it to say, Mark Buehrle is nowhere near a priority for them at this point. Stl can trade a starter to make room for MB, who knows how Wainright will do come spring. Stl would dump Lohse or Westbrook in a heartbeat to make room.
  9. QUOTE (Marty34 @ Sep 24, 2011 -> 10:46 AM) On whether a change in leadership is needed: Kenny and Ozzie grasping at straws they know both there asses are on the line.
  10. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Sep 23, 2011 -> 11:30 AM) For what, 2x the money per year and 4x the number of years? Yes for what! I pay PF over AR he is worth the money compared to AR in every way.
  11. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Sep 23, 2011 -> 01:56 PM) What do you disagree about? That Prince will get at least 7 years/$150 million? That's a foregone conclusion. No that Prince is #2 guy behind Pujols and not AR in FA market.
  12. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Sep 23, 2011 -> 01:18 PM) IMO, some team is going to way overpay for Prince as well. That's cool we agree to disagree.
  13. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Sep 23, 2011 -> 08:18 AM) League starts canceling training camp and exhibition games. Stay out college hoops are fine with me.
  14. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Sep 23, 2011 -> 11:30 AM) For what, 2x the money per year and 4x the number of years? Duh he is 27 to compare PF vs AR is a joke, PF is going into his prime . Last 3 years of AR next contract come talk to me when he is a liability and dead money like Rios. Granted a team will way overpay for AR because the 3rd base FA market is so weak.
  15. QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 22, 2011 -> 07:00 PM) As for the topic, No thank you.. If Albert stays in STL as everyone seems to think will happen.. 'Ramirez would be the #2 top hitter to go after My bet.. He ends up with LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA Angels. They been throwing money down the drain the last several years.. he seems like a perfect fit for them. I will take Prince as a hitter way younger over AR and his 2 DL stints a year anyday.
  16. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Sep 23, 2011 -> 10:51 AM) That part about wanting to see how other organizations are run is pretty interesting. You wonder if he meant anything more by it. Either way, it does sound like he's seriously thinking about leaving. STL is very much in play IMO.
  17. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Sep 22, 2011 -> 08:54 PM) Exactly. It's insulting as hell. And did anyone else get a little angry looking at Beckham's s***-eating grin in the 9th today? Wipe that smile off of your face. Your team is terrible and about to drop another game. And obviously I'm happy that they're losing to get better draft positioning, but I don't want the players to act like they couldn't give a s*** less about the game. I saw that pathectic to see guys on this team act that way.
  18. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Sep 22, 2011 -> 05:43 PM) Not happening. Their rotation is set next year. All of their funds are going towards resigning that 1B. It is far from not happening IMO.
  19. Thanks MB for years and WS title, time is now to finish your dreams and pitch for STL next year.
  20. QUOTE (oldsox @ Sep 22, 2011 -> 09:41 AM) Geez, I just read that if Scrubs opt in and Ramirez opts out, then the Scrubs get two high draft picks when he signs elsewhere. This would be right up Kenny's alley. Please, KW, don't do it. Sox are not signing AR or anyone else this off season for the money he will demand.
  21. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Sep 21, 2011 -> 09:10 AM) As soon as they threw Miz and Truth out of the building, the first thing that came to my mind is "they are recreating a psuedo-NWO and Nash is going to be the leader" I think Ace is going to fade into the background sooner or later, everyone knows how much he sucks in front of an audience. The only reason I think they keep trotting him out there is because of the heat he is generating Survivor series IMO....................... NWO faction vs Cena, Rock, HHH, etc If booked right could be fun.
  22. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Sep 21, 2011 -> 08:50 PM) For anyone that still cares, that link that Mike posted totally shut Oney up.
  23. QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Sep 20, 2011 -> 09:48 PM) Oney claims manager doesn't have anything to do with retaliation. It's up to the players. What about the whole David Riske (sp?) situation.. I cannot wait for Guillen's kids to move to Miami with Daddy paying all the bills, I NEVER want to hear anything from his hanger on kids again! Oney get a real life and quit being a 12 year old on twitter jackoff.
  24. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Sep 20, 2011 -> 08:45 PM) Maybe every worker in America should only have a one-year contract. We all are day to day
