  1. The Sox this year made dam near all games tiered pricing, I understand Bos, NY, Cubs, but alot made no sense at all and made the games way overpriced and fans said HELL NO! I think this turned off alot of fans IMO!
  2. Sox get $23.00 for parking far and away the highest in MLB in the revenue stream.
  3. QUOTE (Cali @ Jul 30, 2011 -> 01:35 PM) What a f***ing mistake... I'm coining a phrase right now. KW is blinded by the "AL Central Illusion of Contention", where in the division is SO BAD that putting a team that underperforms in one facet of the game EVERY NIGHT, but is only 3 games out due to aforementioned bad division, is okay and said facet of the game needs no changes because "look how close we are to first with the team we have now" They will play good thru Sunday then on Monday against NY back to the SOS and trade deadline is OVA!
  4. Sox will win just enough this weekend to not trade CQ and on Monday it will all go downhill.
  5. QUOTE (Cali @ Jul 29, 2011 -> 08:21 PM) Looking like another wasted effort by Gavin... Stand pat Kenny. This team will surely figure it out.... Wasted just like 2011.
  6. QUOTE (kageman129 @ Jul 29, 2011 -> 08:07 PM) Hopefully Sunday, when Quentin is in a Braves uniform and DV is called up. Sad thing is, I love Quentin in the line-up, but it definitely is time to change something here. Sounds good to me.
  7. Danks has no interest in an extension. He wants to be a free agent 100%
  8. QUOTE (DirtySox @ Jul 29, 2011 -> 02:55 PM) DKnobler DKnobler DKnobler by SI_JonHeyman With Braves holding tight to all their top pitching prospects, some in industry believe they end up with Ludwick as OF bat. #tradedeadline 9 minutes ago Favorite Retweet Reply Atlanta you got to give to get.
  9. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jul 28, 2011 -> 05:31 PM) Steve Smith? NO! He is not the player. The Bears have traded Greg Olsen to the Panthers in exchange for a player to be named later and a draft pick. No, that player is not Steve Smith. Olsen was placed on the trading block as Bears offensive coordinator Mike Martz despises pass-catching tight ends. In Carolina, he'll join fellow "U" alum Jeremy Shockey and step right in as the No. 2 option in the passing game behind Smith. Olsen, who caught 60 passes and eight touchdowns the year before Martz arrived in Chicago, is back on the radar as a borderline TE1.
  10. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jul 28, 2011 -> 04:09 PM) Wow. I wonder if it is Quentin. I wouldn't think we'd deal this quick, but if the Sox got the right package, who knows. I could live with Minor and Beachy. Gives you two lefty arms who are solid and can be traded. Although I'd clearly prefer a package built around Teheran. I agree do it.
  11. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jul 28, 2011 -> 03:00 PM) I disagree, it was mentioned in the paper today that they may have interest. Drake already lobbying to bring him in.
  12. Angelo can get into free agency anytime ................wake up Jerry!
  13. http://www.soundboard.com/sb/The_Iron_Sheik_clips.aspx No Stacey King but cheer up you always got................Sheiky Baby!
  14. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jul 28, 2011 -> 02:09 PM) You haven't been watching the same team that I have this year. I watched a team with CQ in the lineup all year score 3 runs or less over half the time.
  15. If Danks goes then it is White flag 2.
  16. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jul 28, 2011 -> 01:56 PM) The teams record has nothing to with what Q has done this year. Yeah it does we are not breaking up the 27 Yankees, team is going to have about the same record with or without CQ on it!
  17. QUOTE (Real @ Jul 28, 2011 -> 01:40 PM) probably already been posted, it's not a brand new tweet... just been skimming the beatwriters/bloggers twitter accounts http://twitter.com/#!/BNightengale/sta...386194459459584 "The trouble with trading Quentin is that it would signify they're giving up" He thinks that if we trade CQ, it's a give up/rebuild trade.. Having DV taking CQ place is far from giving up to me we are under .500 with CQ all year. Get some good pitching prospects from ATL and I am all for it.
  18. QUOTE (WHarris1 @ Jul 28, 2011 -> 01:14 PM) Viciedo's injury should absolutely NOT hold us back from trading CQ I agree play Brent in RF for a few days until DV is ready to go.
