Sox always seem to struggle against young unknown pitchers , we make them look like Cy Young, I hope that changes EARLY this year.

Start of SOX season is my Christmas morning, I love the start of MLB. I just want to say how much I enjoy Soxnet and the regular posters, whether I agree or disagree with you on a thread are very good and knowledgible SOX fans, I hope new posters are just as good. I think it is fantastic to talk Sox baseball on a site I think is top notch. Lets kick some ass and win a World Series, and the Cubs still blow.

Cubs are his choice for biggest suprise NL team in 03, and SOX are his most dissapointing AL team. What the hell am I missing that almost all media outlets are praising the Cubs and downgrading the SOX. Cubs won 65 games last year have done very little to improve team, Sox I feel have done a credible job upgrading the team and like this team much better than last. Media is treating Cubs like royalty and SOX like Bastard child, there is no doubt in my mind Sox will have a much better year than Cubs, one example the Sox BP is 100% better than Cubs, Cubs BP killed them last year and was not addressed much at all in offseason.

I am not a fan of his at all, he never tells it like it is unless it is Pete Rose conversation. His announcing is terrible the last few years.

Lee will be lucky not to be traded by July, Jimenez was a nice pickup he will steal 15-20 SB. Sox are willing to listen for offers on LEE, with his salary 4.5 Mil this year he is MAJOR trade bait.Sox want JB in left anyway.

If Bulls were and are going to trade there high draft picks ie Brand #1, Williams #2 then we should not have such a s***ty team for 5 years this is clearly not working or worth waiting for.

My pick would be Ron Leflore, I was excited about Sox getting him and they had those new s***ty uniforms to boot at the time . Leflore was a shell of the man, we ran C.Lemon out of town for that joker. Hell I liked Chester Earl Lemon he was underated in his day .
