You can bet ESPN will not run a 15 minute piece on MR. fraud! -
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jan 16, 2013 -> 01:34 PM) Do you hate your life as a Bears fans? Don't click this link. http://www.usatoday.com/story/gameon/2013/...estman/1839161/ Can't say you did not warn me! :

CHICAGO (AP) -- A person familiar with the situation says the Chicago Bears have hired New Orleans Saints offensive line coach Aaron Kromer as their offensive coordinator. The person spoke Wednesday on the condition of anonymity because the move had not been announced. Kromer will work under new coach Marc Trestman, who was hired to replace the fired Lovie Smith on Wednesday. The Bears are trying to get more out of quarterback Jay Cutler and become regular playoff participants after missing the postseason for the fifth time in six years. Kromer served as the Saints' head coach for six games this season while interim head coach Joe Vitt was suspended for his role in the bounty scandal. Saints coach Sean Payton had to sit out the year.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jan 16, 2013 -> 10:02 AM) Keeping Marinelli is huge. There's nothing wrong with the D. Maybe change things when Briggs,Tillman and Peppers are gone, but til then set it and forget it. The Bears need to leave this offseason with Jake Long and at least 2 of their top 4 picks spent on OL. Marinelli can stay....................Tice has to go!

Sources tell the Chicago Sun-Times that new coach Marc Trestman is likely to retain Rod Marinelli as his defensive coordinator. Trestman and the Bears would be silly to dump Marinelli. The Bears' defense ranked fifth in yards allowed, third in points allowed, first in interceptions, second in forced fumbles and eighth in sacks. By keeping Marinelli in charge of the unit, there will still be some continuity even though Lovie Smith is gone. Source: Chicago Sun-Times

Bears hire Trestman I am on the fence not excited or mad. My only question If he was so good as media says why did he have to wait so long to get NFL head coaching job since 2004?

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jan 15, 2013 -> 06:57 AM) extremely underwhelming 20th anniversary of RAW Sure was no suprises at all. -
QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jan 15, 2013 -> 11:09 AM) He did an outstanding job here, but special teams weren't very good in 2012. As Hester went so did the special teams............wish him good luck.
-
QUOTE (Jake @ Jan 15, 2013 -> 10:57 AM) Anyone aware of any connections between Marinelli and Trestman? I find it doubtful that Trestman would have his defensive coordinator be somebody that he doesn't know. Could be he may bring some staff members fom Montreal............never thought I would ever type that in talking about DA Bears.

QUOTE (bmags @ Jan 15, 2013 -> 10:35 AM) I think it's clear Trestman has impressed in interviews since his HC stints in Canada, but GMs are worried about tying their jobs to an unconventional horse. If Emery thinks Trestman has the best plan, I'll go along. I'm interested to see what kind of personnel he brings with him. Trestman will either be a great hire or a total train wreck...........no middle ground.

The Chicago Tribune's Vaughn McClure has been told Marc Trestman is the "heavy favorite" for the Bears head-coaching vacancy. McClure said earlier on Monday evening that he would "not be surprised if Trestman was the last man standing," so this takes it a step further. McClure's colleague, David Haugh, reports that Trestman and Seahawks OC Darrell Bevell are the only two that will be brought back for follow-up interviews while the Chicago Sun-Times reports that Bruce Arians is a third finalist. FOX NFL Sunday analyst Jimmy Johnson tweeted on Friday that it "looks like" Trestman was going to get the job in Chicago. Per Rotoworld

Make sense I read Jay Glazer said nobody wanted the job with a ten foot pole.............only way JA gets back in is a job like the Jets! JA and Rex Ryan deserve each other!

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jan 13, 2013 -> 12:05 PM) True, but in this case I think he has a point. The list has other guys that were on the DL at some point do not see them getting little smart ass injury comments. Law has always had a Sox bias.

ATL does not impress me at all. SF rolls them by 14 easy!

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jan 13, 2013 -> 03:06 PM) Lot of time left. He will miss it!

ATL paper champion NFC #1 seed again.....................choke city
-
QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Jan 13, 2013 -> 11:45 AM) Says he would have him in the top 10 but says injury concerns prevents that. If it is a Sox player he always has a list of excuses.

You can bet GB makes getting a running back a huge priority for 2013 season.

QUOTE (The Critic @ Jan 12, 2013 -> 01:30 PM) This is the only way for the A&8 angle to go. Oh, and after Bully is shown to be the leader, how about they win a few matches? Has any heel faction ever been booked to look as weak as they've been? Very true A&8 win/loss is horrid! -

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 12, 2013 -> 03:01 PM) Deja Vu. This is why watching road games is worthless. Sometimes you just dont show up. Problem is they did not show up at home vs Minnesota either!
