He is striking out at an amazing clip right now.

The Vince Coleman lessons are working well.

Well hopefully the twins are the solution to our issues.

QUOTE (shysocks @ Apr 9, 2015 -> 03:15 PM) That issue, as we all know, being beards. Greg Porn

QUOTE (greg775 @ Apr 9, 2015 -> 02:56 PM) Oh no, this 0-3 made me realize some fans may be calling for the Sox to lose as many games as possible to get a better draft pick. NOOoooooooooooo. Please nooooooooo. Better than having irrational fans blame beards for things going wrong.

QUOTE (greg775 @ Apr 9, 2015 -> 02:45 PM) Embarrassing or LOL however you want to look at it. KC is now 16-6 vs. Chicago over the last 22 games. Nice. I hope LaRoche goes ballistic in the clubhouse after this game. And in his tirade you hope he and a pair of scissors get into a wicked battle where the scissors wins. Its game 3 you realize an you want people to throw fits. Cute.

Hey look they worked on synchronized handshakes in the royals dugout. How cute.

Their fast guys are actually fast. Our fast guys are not that fast.

QUOTE (greg775 @ Apr 9, 2015 -> 02:03 PM) I've been told women don't dig beards any more. Shave it. Women told you. Thats rich.

QUOTE (daa84 @ Apr 9, 2015 -> 01:43 PM) so hawk is watching high school dance competitions now And its tougher than football, baseball and basketball.

QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ Apr 8, 2015 -> 10:24 PM) it's a kid's game and why not show some emotion and flair dude had a great game. good on him. I'd like our guys to pickup their f***ing games to his level. It is a game. I dont mind strutting around the bases. Thats expected. The curtain call however on game 2 is a bit much.

QUOTE (greg775 @ Apr 8, 2015 -> 10:20 PM) It's not bush league at all. Again, it was a game winning home run by a guy the Sox are throwing at. Sox need to man up and start beating KC and not whining if they are whining. Its bush league. Now in the Merionette park little league you celebrate every home run like its the last one on the planet, these however are pros who play 162 games. Its game 2.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Apr 8, 2015 -> 10:13 PM) Curtain call? Really? When we walk them off at the Cell. One of our guys should walk on their hands from 1st to 2nd, run backwards to 3rd, and then do a belly flop on home plate after the team dusts off the plate. Then do the presser right there.

Bullpen looks fixed.

QUOTE (maggsmaggs @ Apr 8, 2015 -> 07:28 PM) I would seriously rather hear Stone interview Christine O'Reilly about White Sox community efforts for three hours than to hear Hawk talk about [insert player x] is [insert superlative]. Its like watching a cartoon live.

That was just a lefty trying to establish the inside corner.

QUOTE (greg775 @ Apr 6, 2015 -> 06:13 PM) The facial hair looks really stupid when you get beat down as the Sox did today. It's like they are neanderthal men trying to hit a baseball with a club. Oh well, got to take one of three. 0-3 after last year's 6-13 vs. KC would be pretty lousy. Say what you want, KC does expect to beat the Sox now every time they take the field. You could see it in Hosmer's cocky face before the game when he was joking around. Sox are gonna have to do something about that. 1-2 in this series would be OK. I will tell our CEO that he looks like a neanderthal because he has a beard. Good call.

QUOTE (SoxAce @ Apr 6, 2015 -> 06:09 PM) I played myself. A well located fastball is tough to hit. Hell I could hit at 93 if the guy kept throwing it. I will just respectfully disagree even talking to guys who I personally know that have been drafted playing minor league ball now. A well located fastball is tough to barrel up and drive. You can make contact and put the ball in play. You might not be successful in the outcome of what happens. I faced a few guys who had plus stuff and were 92-95. The different was however that their secondary stuff was no where near what these guys in the pro's throw. So sure you could get the bat on the ball and hit it. But its not RBI baseball where you are putting it into the stands.

QUOTE (Dunt @ Apr 6, 2015 -> 05:59 PM) I did, and he's throwing some meatballs. Probably couldn't touch that 2 seam tho. I did as well. Hitting fastballs is not hard. The different between college and the pro's however is the secondary pitches move a hell of a lot more. You are facing the friday night pitcher every day.
-
QUOTE (Dunt @ Apr 6, 2015 -> 05:56 PM) I'm pretty positive I could get a hit off Drabek. Unless you played college baseball I highly doubt it.
-
QUOTE (flavum @ Apr 6, 2015 -> 05:45 PM) If they come home 0-3, Reinsdorf should have them shave and get haircuts before Friday's game. Clean it up, losers. Facial Hair is the reason. LOL

Alexei pulls up at the last moment after making a play on the ball. Then Micah lets it go by. The minute the SS puts his mitt down you dont pull up like that.
-
QUOTE (Soxfest @ Apr 6, 2015 -> 05:20 PM) Hawk have some balls and name some names, If you want to tell a story. How about a better point. Why is the f***ing announcer going into the managers office and making demands. The proper answer should of been GFY.

QUOTE (Flash Tizzle @ Apr 6, 2015 -> 05:03 PM) SSI, B>W.....i feel it has been years since I've talked to you two scalawags I'll have to watch the replay later to fully appreciate his level of suck, I suppose The only reason I am watching this is I am working midnights for the next two weeks because a customer of mine is paranoid.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Apr 6, 2015 -> 05:01 PM) I swear. I've had foot cramps that hurt worse than any broken bone ever. Have never ran into a cramp in my pitching hand. Thats a first seeing that. Foot and or legs sure.
