  1. The term catcher in the name implies what he is supposed to do. They don't call the position framer.
  2. Wait, what. I must of missed this in college. You mean I could of called the game. Fuck me. I did it wrong. The guy dressed up in armor kept signalling me with fingers.
  3. What is his plus skill. He was drafted in the top end of the draft. That kind of player is usually a stud in one aspect. The only plus skill I see is he makes contact.
  4. He is a lazy catcher. The balls that get past him are not complex pitches that are moving like crazy. He just loses concentration and it just gets past him.
  5. Kelenic would of looked good in the mix right now and anyone with a pulse at 2nd who can catch.
  6. The little guy who cant field at 2nd and the catcher who forgets to block are the reason this is a mess.
  7. The one thing I am convinced TLR can do is manage the bullpen.
  8. About the same time we started attacking him with fastballs.
  9. RR as a travel coach. Alright, boys who want to play 2nd. Has everyone got in today? Hey Timmy, Leurys mom called and she paid almost 3000 dollars for her kid to be on this travel team. So you will need to come to the bench. Good game. Bracket play on Sunday boys. We are the 4 seed.
  10. Joe Borchard was a better major leaguer than Angel is an umpire.
  11. Umpires feel so emboldened that the worst of them sue because they think that they are being discriminated against. Angel Hernandez suing the MLB for cause is the same as Joe Borchard suing to get into the hall of fame.
  12. Down the middle about upper thigh is not the place to hit.
  13. Ah umpires. The only ones who are worse at their jobs are weathermen.
  14. Ricky would of came out, asked Giolito if he was okay. Then he would of walked back to the dugout. And after Trout hit a homer he would have pulled him.
  15. I don't want Vaughn to be a platoon guy because he happens to hit right-handed.
  16. There are positional nuances that need to be taught. OFs learn how to crow hop/pro step to throw a ball with more momentum. As a first baseman, he hasn't had to do that and it's probably not instinctive. Rounding the OF ground ball to get the right angle to the bag. Situational awareness in the OF. This is something that will take some time. He is a MLB athlete so we all expect him to know everything but considering he hasn't probably played OF since little league its a bit more work to get that ingrained. I laugh when everyone thinks that every play can play every position. The age-old adage, well let's just make him an OF or a 1B. 1B has a lot of foot work that most don't understand. Also, the ability to pick the ball can save a lot of bad plays. In the OF it's about getting behind the ball, moving your momentum towards the target of the throw.
  17. Well because, science. Well not really science. Just however I feel that day is now science.
