I love the run up the middle down by a few touchdowns with just over 8 left. Are we playing to win or playing for the gambling spread.

If the sox truly wanted him they would of locked him up already. We are playing the prototypical sox lets let it simmer and hope the market isnt there and we can strike for a bargain. The same technique we used with Machado. Someone will swoop in and steal him away at the last minute here because we are bargain hunting for a need. -

You should see if they are looking for a GM. Obviously they need help. -

That seems to be a better plan than. Hi welcome to the whitesox, here is how you hold the cutter. Throw it every other pitch. Oh your breaking balls, leave those at the door. You wont be needing those as well. Attack the hitters low right into that launch angle swing people have been talking about. -

Guess what, Dahlquist, Kelley and Thompson are lottery tickets. If your plan is never to spend because the owner is cheap then you might as well blow this up and rebuild forever. Hopefully the guys you mention provide some value. But to put your hopes on that they are eventual replacements for guys like Giolito is a bit of a stretch. And if we cant resign guys like Giolito then we are fucked. -

Why lose games earlier in the year playing with a closer by committee. It's only money to sign someone now. At the deadline we are trading away from an already thin top heavy farm system. -

Well JR remembers how profitable 1994 was for him in the long run. The fans eventually kind of came back. Plus who needs first place teams anyways. 2nd place keeps the suckers, I mean fans, coming back for more. -

Who is around for the 1 to 4 million dollar range for the least amount of years. Doesnt matter if their shoulder is in tact or they pitched for years. As long as they have technically have closed an MLB baseball game at some point. They could be 40 years old. -

The greatest scam on the planet is JR forcing the hire of an Octogenarian as a win now play. Then only to tighten up the purse strings talking about how money is now tight. The next play in his grand scheme will be to have a forced labor stoppage and he can avoid paying payroll altogether. -

Well if JR treats 2022 like he did the 1994 labor dispute then get ready for more disappointment. -

Did he play last year in the world series? I also saw Howie Kendricks highlights as well from 2019. How is he projecting this year. -

Lately they pounce early to avoid a bidding war. I don't see a lot of late moves for premium talent later in the offseason for the sox. -

Their team scored more runs than ours last year. We hit one more home run than they did. We play in a bandbox they play in a pitchers park. So I think you underestimate their offense a bit. -

Well I think they priced themselves out of a closer. So we will find a fixer upper guy. We have done this before. Same for a starter. Looking for that diamond in the rough. -

I wanted Springer, not either of them. -

You might want to check the difference in how many times Eaton has been on the DL versus Pederson. -

If you think he is a championship RF in 2021 then Jerry has his perfect fan. Howie Kendrick was a championship player in 2019 maybe we can get him out of retirement next. -

There is another method of getting talent besides trades and losing players. One just involves money. Remember all of that money that we saved by tanking for years. The money that we also wasted on players like Jon Jay, Alonso and other fillers that we signed during the rebuild. I am not saying just empty the bank. But picking up Trevor Bauer or Springer immediately makes this team better and in a much better position to win in the short and long term. -

Why is Larussa here? Is he here to run a course or to win championships. Rick Hahn said we are now in our championship window. Adam Eaton is not a championship RF. Championship teams dont fill their RF with platoon players as a major acquisition. -

The bullpen will be their next focus after they lock up the Darvish trade. I am having flashbacks to Kenny talking about how other teams free agent signings put them on a better path to compete with us. -

If he buys in and this is a 3 year run. Are we acting like its a 3 year run. Why is Adam Eaton our RF if this is a 3 year run? -

If that was the case TLR is at home and not running this team. There is no way that the description of the replacement for Renteria fits TLR. -

We are approaching this offseason in the same method that we have approached a bunch of other offseasons. This is not a new strategy. Hell 4 years ago we might of done the same exact thing.
