  1. Nice Job Ozzie. Brandon McCarthy, he is that skinny kid that doesnt pitch much. It should be Vazquez Bmac Thornton McDougal Jenks But we have to f*** with putting our worst releivers in a must win game, with the autoloss coming up tomorrow.
  2. Our appendage aware manager needs to stop with the worry about which limb a guy tosses the rock with. Bmac should of been option A out of the pen tonight, end of f***ing story. But we need to put Mr. I let all inherited runners score in because Morneau was lefty.
  3. 3 balls hit hard in a row. So Ozzie does the right thing. Well almost. He takes out his worst starter, and brings in his worst reliever. Eject the 2005 WS DVD Ozzie, Cotts isnt the same guy as last year. Stop using him like he is this good go to guy.
  4. Well what do you know, Cinderella is poof back into a pumpkin. Why in the name of god is Cotts the first option out of the pen. He is horrible. Yet he is the first guy out of the pen.
  5. QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 25, 2006 -> 08:58 PM) How can there be any doubt about who should be playing LF and leading off for the Sox? Ozzie's offense is based on the florida marlins template. Must have weak armed fast guy who steals bases as your leadoff guy. Mack doesnt apply. Sweeney should get a crack at it next year, but I bet Jerry Owens who hasnt proven a damn thing in AAA will get the first nod because he has a noodle arm, and can run.
  6. Paulies hitting chart must look like right field is out.
  7. Riske is up. LMAO at Vazquez. The bullpen is up with a 3 to zip lead because you are real reliable past 75 pitches, and the 5th inning.
  8. Pods with a taken 3rd strike. I am shocked and confused that he took that. Its so unlike him. He is such a battler with 2 strikes.
  9. QUOTE(S720 @ Aug 25, 2006 -> 08:48 PM) To those of you who have angrily complained about Ozzie putting Rob in CF, please send your apology. I guess there's a reason why we always manage our White Sox team via virtualization. Because it makes up for the large amount of time he has been a butcher in CF.
  10. QUOTE(Felix @ Aug 25, 2006 -> 08:42 PM) BA wouldn't have caught that either. Maybe not, however the range difference between BA and Mack is like the speed difference between Ozuna and Konerko.
  11. QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 25, 2006 -> 08:35 PM) ....as he chases ball four. I am thinking that Brian passes Taz in batting average by the end of the year.
  12. Hawk with a premature Stretch. He is now getting to Harry Carey status on guessing on fly balls.
  13. QUOTE(CYGarland @ Aug 25, 2006 -> 08:28 PM) Nice to see Javy isn't throwing as many meatballs tonite. Well he is pre 75 pitches or the 3rd time through the lineup. This is when he looks like Cy Young. Lets see what happens when the clock strikes >75 >5th inning >3rd time through the lineup.
  14. Its almost time to warm up the pen. 2nd time through the lineup, once we get to 3 its magic time. Nice play by Gooch.
  15. I liked the AJ that used to hit to all fields, the one we had this year. Last years pull only AJ didnt do too well.
  16. QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 25, 2006 -> 08:20 PM) It was a rocket, one hop single to a charging Tyner in LF. Plus he had the ball well before Gload even was turning at third. The hot dog guy could of thrown him out from the OF on that one.
  17. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Aug 25, 2006 -> 05:39 PM) 1.) Why would you EVER start Rod Mackowiak in CF over Brian Anderson? 2.) Why was a REAL 4th outfielder never acquired for this team? 3.) What the f*** happened to Freddy Garcia's arm? 1.) Because you use a magic 8 ball to make out the lineup and the fluid is cold and its stuck on rightfully so. 2.) Because KW asked Konerko and he said we can win a WS with this team. They also were the same people that brought a chubby Steve Perry to the WS rally after the parade and did bad version of a bad journey song. 3.) Partially Torn rotator cuff is my guess. Only a tech operating an MRI machine, and a doctor could get to the bottom of this mystery.
  18. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Aug 25, 2006 -> 05:35 PM) Mackowiak did homer off Radke the last time he faced him there for Mackowiak >>> Anderson. Career Vs Radke: BA: 1-2, 2B Mack: 3-8, 2B, HR Its obvious who is at fault for this. Andersons damn family. Damn right handed genes passed down. What is Ozzie going to do, if you suggest the radical idea of letting a right face a righty pitcher, thats unheard of in modern baseball. I mean how could he survive with that 88 mph fastball busting down on him. He might fall down and cry if he saw a curveball.
  19. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Aug 25, 2006 -> 04:55 PM) Yep, appearantly the platoon is back on. So we have a pitcher that doesnt do well pitching over errors, gnat farts, and other things that he cant control. So we put a butcher in CF because he happens to have been born with a left appendage. Here you go kid, 2 hits including a triple and a damn webgem. Your reward, some pine. The other guy who is a butcher in CF he will play the majority of the time Please blame your parents for the wrong gene mix to make you right handed.
  20. QUOTE(G&T @ Aug 24, 2006 -> 02:10 PM) If that's pods the throw is still getting there. If its Pods the ball was kicked into the corner, and then thrown into 2nd bouncing off the runner, and its a man on third.
  21. Oddly it seems that Jermaine can handle the 3 hole. Now lets leave him there for the rest of the year. the argument that we need the lefty righty alternate to avoid the loogy really doesnt hold water. Because of Gooch's numbers versus lefties, they bring the loogy in anyways to clean house against Pods, Gooch and Thome. Lets get some of that Dye 3 hole magic.
  22. You could bounce it in, and he would swing at it. You could hit the mascot, and Uribe would swing at it. Profundo, meh
  23. QUOTE(SnB @ Aug 24, 2006 -> 12:09 PM) rain delay? Are you kidding me, I hustled my ass to the library so I could catch the first half hour before my next class. Shenanigans Not that much of a delay 40 minutes after the hour is what Farmio is saying. \
  24. If they could get him to learn a cut fastball, and a change like Buerhle's claw then he could go into the rotation without a problem. 93-95, with a few pitches makes for a nice starter.
