Well it was a strike at least. sigh Jon needs to get his control together in his next few starts. His problem is entirely on his inability to throw strike one and get ahead.

Well on the good news front this sets up the double play. Now Jon needs to throw strike one.

Jon gets strike one in, then he can use his sinker. But when he is 2-0 on every hitter, he has to throw his fastball, and his fastball no matter what the gun is saying, is not good enough to blow hitters away.

Garland is now 2-0 on walker. Start throwing strikes f***er. You are a contact pitcher, if you get behind you are going to get rocked.
