What is Brandon McCarthy's role on this team. He doesnt pitch in close games, he doesnt pitch in games like this because we keep throwing Garland out there to give up more runs. This pitcher-catcher combo is having problems coming up with a plan. We have Morgan Ensberg who cant hit an outside pitch, and we are going in on 0-2. Some of this is pitch calling, some of this is Garland throwing a sinker that starts at the knees and goes into the dirt for pitch one and pitch 2. Now we have hitters who are 3-1 and we need baserunners and they are chasing pitches at the neck. We have a problem winning that 9th game.

You have to love Brantley from Baseball tonight. He is using the gun on the telecast to say that Contreras is a soft tosser. He kept on saying, look all he throws is 85, 86 smooth slow delivery, nothing on his fastball. Hey Mullet boy, the gun on the broadcast is for crap.
