By the way, Thornton's 3.77 ERA is exactly the ERA that Damaso Marte had last year. Hmm.
I dont think Thornton however is going to quit the team in September like Marte did. So we are better off.

I'm not as high on Coop as most people. Why can't he fix Judy and Cliff?
Judy has no balls.
Cliff has lost a few mph on his fastball. You look a lot better popping the mitt at 94-96 with a slider at 88. When you are at 90-91 and your slider is still at 88 there is not enough differential in those pitches.
There are few managers in baseball that would of let Bmac face Cat in that situation.
The gut so far isnt working this year with making picks for matchups late in games. Last year we won these games, this year we are a gas can.
f***ing pathetic.
You have a f***ing lefty that hurts you. You have a lefty who is hot, who throws in the upper 90s.
Crede is our only hope against f***ing BJ Ryan.

I am amazed that Ozzie goes with BMAC vs the tough lefty.
He does this here, when it makes sense to go with Thornton.
But then boone logans it up, because he doesnt want a righty to face a lefty.

Ri-ficking-diculous non strike 3 called.
Seriously. Right down the God damn plate.
Angel Hernandez, what an ump.

If they score here luckily we have our 7-8-9 hitters in the 9th.
Over/Under on number of pitches Uribe sees in his AB. I go with 2.
