  1. When was the last time coop fixed anyone. Are we sending Hamels to Gio's high school coach to fix him.
  2. Well Hamels to the White Sox would be right up Kenny's playbook. Lets get aging vet who used to be good on the twilight of his career for some lightning in the bottle.
  3. David Blough has better touch on his passes than our 2nd overall pick who cant hit open receivers.
  4. Timmy and Robert then Moncada at the 3 hole, Abreu 4th, Eloy 5th, We will need to keep Renteria's bunt sign in the garbage can where it belongs. Madrigal at the 9 hole hitter.
  5. Collins to RF? That sounds absolutely horrid from a defense perspective. The video game mentality of X player can just be moved to X position doesnt work in the real world. My guess is they move Collins.
  6. I could care less if the was the heir apparent. We have major leaguers who cant catch a baseball. He should of been up here working with them ala Ron Washington. Whomever is working with Tim Anderson needs to be shown the door.
  7. Bring him up to the MLB team and let him work with Anderson and the young players. Nope. Lets get rid of him so we can have more of our patented white sox who think the leather thing on their hand is to keep their hand warm and to swat at the round objects being hit at them.
  8. You are the only person on the planet who thinks this.
  9. The difference was that the A's employed Ron Washington who worked with Semien and focused on his defensive craft. He is doing the same thing with the Braves young players. Whomever is doing this for the whitesox is failing. Its sad really. Through the rebuild phase we should of focused on defense as one of the aspects of fundamental baseball. Tim Anderson should of been an absolute priority.
  10. His ball moves from right to left. He needs to start that ball further to the right and its good.
  11. You are a fan of a few players who are on the sox or who have played on the sox. You are barely a fan of the team. At least we know where you stand.
  12. I would rank them Cole, Stras, and then Wheeler. You have to come away with one of these guys. I don't care how many JR dollars it takes. He has saved enough money over the last few years. Time to spend.
  13. I look forward to the 3rd tier offers we try to toss to these FA's with opt outs, magical deferred dollars and pretend better value based on team options based on tunable playing time. In the end we will bargain hunt for FAs looking to rebuild their value, coming off injury, or a few years removed from success. Other teams are going to outbid us for these front line players. And Hahn is not going to wait until February to build his team for primary free agents. It will be quantity over quality this offseason. Look we spent the money will be the moniker. I would get Cole, Wheeler, JD for DH and a RF and call it an offseason. We have the money. There are no excuses. I am ready however for the excuses on near misses and almost wins this offseason. We will know how its going based on the number of whitesox leaks. When Kennys guy starts negotiating for us in the twitters. You know you are fucked.
  14. I think Mitch Trubisky would make Bill Walsh look like he is over his head. Mitch is a bad backup QB.
  15. Every year they should be rolling the dice on some of these 16 year old players. If one hits its worth it. The fact that we opt out is overly dumb.
  16. And for those who dont respect IFA remember some of these 16 year olds that get signed, turn into guys like Juan Soto. I for one would like a wildcard or two and hope they pan out. https://www.mlb.com/news/nationals-sign-dominican-outfielder-juan-soto/c-134216106
  17. Money will be spent. It will be spread out across multiple mediocre players instead of using it on a few key ones. Players are like a lottery ticket to the whitesox. Spread the wealth around and hope one surprises you.
  18. I responded right below my initial response. I misread it. Still less than a mill. Sad. I look forward to our 35 year old free agent on his last legs or a broken pitcher who needs a one year deal to rebuild his value.
  19. I read the above wrong. They are not saving anything. If anything it saves them 750k, the 500k buyout and 250k of mythical dollars they would of spent on IFA. Still doesnt make me feel comfortable when they offer future bucks.
  20. So they did this to save 250k. Well I for one see the Sox spending large amounts of money on premier free agents. I cant wait to see what we get this offseason.
  21. He is a machine however he better get that crotch grabbing and sticking his tounge out at pitchers out of his system. That's a bit more than just kids having fun. Some pitcher in the regular season is going to drop him.
