I don't believe what Cowley said (was listening to that too). Don't think the Sox were as close as the media is saying. They're just trying to throw a little more gasoline on the fire, make Kenny and Ozzie look bad and they've got more to talk about.

Well I initially saw it on MLB Trade Rumors, but the Daily Herald is now reporting it. 3 years, 15-16 million... Not a good deal if you ask me. He was absolutely terrible outside of Colorado last season.
